My wife and I decided to make the trip to try this place out being fans of hot pot. The broth is very nice. We both decided to... go with their spicy broth. The setup of the restaurant is such that you each get your own hot pot. That allowed my wife to havea half-mild broth while I enjoyed the spiciest offering called "killer". Then you choose the types of things you want to cook inthe broth. We had lamb, beef, lotus root, pumpkin, shrimp, Spam and chicken dumplings. If you're a huge Hot Pot person, this place is for you. Lots of goodies here. Start with the sauce station, OMG, I haven't seen... this much selection since my last epic HotPot in Richmond BC HaiDiLao. If you're a sauce person, this place has the bestselection of sauces in town. The selection of broth is amazing. We order 3, Pickled fish broth that reminds me of the theamazing Dagu Rice Noodle. First time visiting. Delicious. Super friendly staff were always making sure your had what you needed - napkins, water, removing... dirty dishes. Went with a 2 pepper spicy broth. It is on the spicy side. There is a 1 pepper and up to 4 peppers. Called thekiller sauce and I would believe them. I enjoy spicy food but the 2 was spicy enough. Suggest a 1 pepper to start. Presentationof food was great. Pay for the broth and then all the side ingredients you wish. Sauce area included and has about 12 differentitems. Hoisin sauce to sugar, garlic, cilantro, chili sauce, onions to name a few. Daughters birthday so they gave a 3 piecevariety cheesecake platter. Fruit, chocolate and Carmel. Delicious. Enjoyed the JusFruit drinks. Many choices includingstrawberry banana and a peach strawberry. Can choose a variety of toppings - mango, strawberry, etc. Will go again. If you want to try a hot pot restaurant and aren't sure where you want to go, come here! This was a fantastic restaurant and... very easy to order with only a little help. My hubby loves spicy and tried the legendary spicy broth that was medium mild and hesaid it was plenty spicy. The broths tasted really delicious and all the meat and vegetables were fresh and tasty. They have alittle sauce bar with excellent selections that you can mix and make your own concoctions. We can't wait to come back withfriends or just on a date night. Read more
