The food is great - definitely worth checking out if you like Nigerian food. I tried their fried rice which was rather mild on... the heat scale. The staff were very friendly. Our friend who is not very familiar with Nigerian food ordered some goat (despiteseeing the 'pepper' signs beside the dish name on the menu) and a sweet lady intervened to bring the heat down a bit! The jollofrice was also nice. I definitely ordered a portion of the amazing plantain fries! The only downside to the place was the priceand the portions. I felt that the price was on the higher end (I am not sure if there are specific ingredients shipped indirectly from Nigeria) and the portion could definitely be bigger to be filling for an adult. Comfortable mom&pop style restaurant. The staff greeted us and seated us quickly upon entering and also said goodbye to us... before we left. Our first experience with African cuisine so we weren?t very familiar with the dishes but they kept coming toour table to chat with us, offer recommendations, and even show us the proper technique to eat African food. Soo delicious. Authentic home cooking. So flavourful. Travelled 2 hours for this meal. Very happy with it. Would come back just... for the puff puff ???? we ordered more then the two photos but it was soo yummy iforgot to photograph the rest. Read more

This has got to be one of the best experiences I've had in Calgary!! The staff was so friendly and the food, oh my it was... AMAZING!! We got to experience authentic African food that was packed with so much flavour and culture! We tried a bit ofeverything and it did not disappoint! I?ve never had any sort of African food before in my life and this really opened me up to just how wonderful the foods of other... cultures can be. The food was not my kind of food but honestly really good. It was a new experience for me (eating with myhands) but a fun one. Our server was friendly and the place is clean. Bright, clean interior accompanied by upbeat African music. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and will definitely eat here again. Had... lunch here with a friend and we agreed that we enjoyed each bite more than the one before. Both our dishes were a bit spicierthan we expected (he ordered 'Medium' and I requested 'Mild') but the spice didn't overwhelm the flavours. We each had a meatpie before our meals and I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks. The waiter was friendly and very attentive. The chefcame out to check on us and told us about our dishes, about some of the culture and the way they're prepared. Read more
