Food: had the meal for 3. Meats came fast and they were well marinated. Side dishes where good except for the fondu... items. S’mores and Calamari where exceptionally good. Price: $47 each Atmosphere: classy yet chilled. Boots are comfy andthe grills are constantly maintained and checked to make sure there is not too much smoke. Service: Fast and responsive. Read more

One of the best Japanese in town! Each cuts of meat is very precise and delicious. Definitely quality over quantity! Customer... service is top notch! Very friendly and highly sociable. She pointed out a couple courses to try out since it is my first time. She also made sure that I can eat everything without worrying about my allergies! One advise I would say when trying this placefor the first time is to reserve a table before coming in! That way, you won't have wait in line. Parking will be tough sinceit is downtown. You'll be lucky to find street parking depending on the time of the day. Highly recommend the food courses for2 since it's good enough. Nonetheless, their spicy Yuzu is definitely worth ordering along with garlic rice. Their hanger steakwhich is 21 days aged is EXTREMELY FANTASTIC! Finally, ended the meal with a lava chocolate dessert ????. This restaurant isperfect for dates or family occasions. Make sure to bring a friend when you visit! Read more

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ has been around for a while and we have visited several times a year. We had family from out of town and... thought she would like to have Japanese BBQ. We came in htw late evening, yet the restaurant was still packed. We ordered aselect number of meats to grill. They were all excellent. Nothing was chewy. Even the calamari had the right bounce. The meatshave enough flavor that we found we hardly need to use the trio of sauces. The Black Pepper Wings are decent. They are friedjust right so the skin is crispy, yet the meat is still very moist. I would order these again! The Tuna Poke Nachos aredifferent. They are heavier and probably would be sufficient for a light meal. The tuna tasted fresh and the poke paired wellwith the fried nachos. The Wakame Seaweed Salad is refreshing and when added to the Beef Sukiyaki Bibimbap, elevates thatdish. The Beef Sukiyaki Bibimbap was the best dish of the night! The hot stone bowl crisped up the rice so there was adelicious crunch to the meal. The flavors were on point and we all agree that the Beef Sukiyaki Bibimbap is a dish to orderagain. The Tonkotsu Ramen is decent enough to be considered comparative to a Ramen shop. I'm impressed by their flavors. Is itthe best? No, but it is awesome for a non-ramen specialty restaurant. Overall, we love coming to Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ. Wealways have a great time and never leave hungry. Read more

It was very busy when we arrived but we got a table pretty quickly. We ordered the Meat Lovers Combo for 2 and Cheese Corn... (separately). The combo came with a large salad, miso soup, fried chicken, sushi (2pc), rice, and edamame. Meal was veryfilling, and the beef paired very well with the spicy dipping sauce. The s’mores came with the combo and were super cute sincewe got to cook it over the stove! Read more
