This was a nice restaurant to enjoy lunch gathering with family & friends. It was easy to find parking and be seated on weekend.... The restaurant was very clean and spacious. Having lived near the ocean for a number of years and being a sushi... lover, I have high expectations for the quality of fish in any sushi restaurant. Haru NEVER disappoints. I ordered this from Skip the Dishes today, and the rolls I received were truly disgusting. The salmon was cut horribly, I've... attached pictures, so you can see. They used salmon pieces that were cut parallel to the scales, super fatty and included thescales, too. That made for an incredibly fishy-tasting roll that's inedible--to be frank. I've had better sushi from fast-foodrestaurants. Never ordering from this restaurant again. Do yourself a favour and skip all their dishes! Read more
Great, great, great, sushi!! Their BBQ squid was phenomenal, I definitely recommend it to everyone. It came sizzling in a... simmering sweet and spicy sauce, a great combo. Their California rolls were also very fresh. I also recommend their seafoodmiso soup as a starter; the scallops and shrimp in it added the right twist to traditional miso soup.
