Been craving BBH (Bun Bo Hue), so we made a visit to Hue Thuong. This place is definitely one of our top picks for BBH in the... city, the broth is flavourful without being overly salty or oily. I also love the Banh Beo and Banh Loc Lai. Read more
We would have to say is our all time favourite Vietnamese restaurant in all of Calgary..!!! The food is as authentic (I hate... using this word but in this case it’s very fitting) as you can get to Vietnamese food. We were very excited to find a place in Calgary that serves Nem Lui and specializes in Hue style soups. We loved the Hue Style... Pho w/rare beef and brisket; the broth was very tasty and had a lot of depth. We also really enjoyed the Nem Lui and the Bun BoHue soup. We ordered the Banh Loc La and thought it was just all right, would probably skip it next time. The women's bathroomcould use a bit of work as there was almost no soap left in it, but they do provide hand sanitizer at every table, which wasnice. The service was good and the people were kind.
