Located in Residential area of the Calgary. Looks like family run business. We went for late lunch and ordered mix platter... consist of lamb and chicken. Also ordered one Chicken Samosa. Food tasted fresh. Order was served with rice, pita bread,hummus. Eatery was busy and staff looked busy preparing different items. They also have many grocery items as well, along withfreshly made cheese and other items. Place can use more cleaning especially small dinning area. The quality of meat was good. We got 1 large beef shawarama & it was enough for 2 person :) Didn't like their cabbage roll, it... was totally different to what I am used to back in Iran. It was tasteless in comparison. Read more
Jimmy immediately made us feel at home. Girlfriend and I appreciated the energy and warmth Jimmy gives to all of his customers.... You'll feel like best friends before you make it over to the pay counter. The lamb... beef... chicken shawarma... incredible.There's a reason this place is the best in Calgary. I drive by this building every day on my way to and from work. Always seeing it busy at lunch time. But not having any clue that... it was a restaurant! Then my buddy invites me for lunch and BAM? we go here! It was so good. I mentioned that I was a newbie andthe staff gave me a small plate of different things to try. I ended up getting same as my friend. A beef donair. With all thetoppings. It was huge, and filling and downright delicious! This restaurant is super good! They have a good selection of authentic Mediterranean foods and it was delicious. We had the beef... donair and it was really good. They fill them up a lot so we were able to split a medium one between two of us and it was enoughfor us. They have a wide variety of desserts and drinks as well. The staff was very friendly, gave us samples, and they allseemed happy. One of the ladies in particular was really funny and you could tell she made everyone feel good and loved jokingaround. It was a very pleasant experience and by the lines of people inside you can tell how good the food is. The prices arevery reasonable too. I highly recommend eating here. Read more
The service is very good, the owner and employees are very nice. The food are so delicious,I shared the large Lamb pita and the... beef samosa with my friend. both have a lot of meat it's enough for two people eat.
