My boyfriend and I decided to try out John Wong\'s after driving past it for years. We are glad we did! It\'s hard to find a... good Chinese restaurant in the city. We ordered shanghai noodles (lacked flavor), dry ribs, wonton soup, sweet and sour chicken.Everything was good! Read more

Googled restaurants near me and went with John wongs. Are we ever glad we went to this place. Very polite and attentive people.... Food came out piping hot, seasoned well and not greasy. The best s&s chicken we\'ve had in the city to date! Crispy (not hard)and tender. Good portions, good food and good service. Read more

Besides one confusion that happened with our noodle dishes which was quickly resolved, our experiences at John Wong’s have... been positive ones! Every order since has been accurate and delicious! Their food is always well seasoned and cooked toperfection and it is so flavorful!! I was also thrilled to find my favorite beef rice noodle dish on the menu also which wascooked and seasoned perfectly! We will be back! My tummy demands it ???? Read more

Pretty good Chinese place. We’re from out of town and found this place on google. Came here and had a few dishes all very... flavourful and my kids are fussy!! They all emptied their plates and were full and sleepy after for the next leg of our roadtrip! Beef satay is very tasty. Read more

It’s my birthday & I wanted a treat. Very disappointed with the quality of this Chinese food. The heavy drenched oil in all... dishes was hard to digest. I ended up feeding most of my meal to my dog unfortunately. I spent $105+ and all dishes were lackingflavour, like are you tasting the food you are providing? I would describe this restaurant as the “no name” of all Chinesefood restaurants (e.g- Superstore sells “no name” products for cheaper price. Although, if u like something enough yourbetter off sticking to the “name brand” Very bland flavour, too much oil. Don’t waste your $$$ like I did. Read more

I can\'t believe I\'ve lived just down the street from this restaurant for years and have only recently tried it out. I was very... impressed with the food and the ample portions leaving me with enough leftovers for my work lunch the next day.\n\nThe gingerbeef had just the right crisp and amount of sauce, sweet and sour pork was great, the fried rice is really good and they giveyou a lot! The wonton soup is hearty and the wontons are big with lots of meat.\n\nThe ladies that took my order were alwaysfriendly and cheerful. Great customer service!\n\nThis was my third time ordering from John Wong\'s in the last few months andit definitely won\'t be my last! Read more

This was better than expected!\n\nI generally don\'t order from neighbourhood Chinese restaurants and prefer to venture... downtown.\n\nI was surprised with how good this was. The vegetables were fresh and cooked nicely.\n\nRice was great andflavourful.\nGinger beef was crispy and delicious. The ginger beef at the bottom of the container was also crispy because thecontainer wasn\'t filled with sauce which was also great to see.\n\nThe price was also good considering the portions youreceive.\n\nDefinitely satisfied with John Wong and his cooking.
