Love this cafe, the lady that served us was friendly, their menu has wide range of items, and it has plenty of work/study area
Tucked away inside the Brentwood community centre. Well signed inside. Cute backyard area which is dog friendly and looks... awesome for the summer. Very large but cosy inside space with a plugin at every table. There's a seperate study room I guessfor a quieter space. Workers were all very friendly. Everywhere looked awesome for laptops or studying. Minus a star becausethe food and coffee was ok but not great. Food options were pretty limited but fine. But in particular my latte was just on thecusp of not being bad. Pretty bitter tasting. The lady who made it seemed new so it might have just been a poorly brewed shot. I am so happy to have found a local gem like Joyful Java! The service has always been fantastic, their sandwiches (and breakfast... sandwich combo) are delicious, as is their fresh baked banana bread. Having visited many times in the short time sincediscovering this cafe, I love the ample dining and study space? as well as the fact that we can support a great local businesswith our ?coffee dollars?. Very cool little spot. Sort of tucked away but this place definitely deserves more attention. Very good food and drinks, and has... a large spacious patio area for sitting and enjoying the outdoors. Owner and staff are lovely. Will be back. Read more
The Gentleman here is so nice and you can tell he cares about his business and his customers. The breakfast sandwich and coffee... for $9 is really good, and the presentation with the extras thrown in will have us returning for sure! Neat place. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Great coffee and delicious food. I had a caramel iced coffee while my wife had a... latte. We also shared a sandwich and a piece of strawberry cheese cake. We loved it all. They have several handy picnicbenches out back so you can sit and enjoy your treats in the sun. I highly recommend Joyful Java. Read more
