Adorable pub in the middle of the quaint Kensington neighbourhood. Lovely evening so we sat outside on the patio. Started with... lime Marguerita and a beer. We shared a wedge salad - crisp and fresh. Lots of bacon, topped with sweet potatoe shavings. Ihad the gnocchi with brocolli and spicy sausage in a rose sauce and Alice of garlic toast - absolutely yummy!! My guest had theshort rib dinner - a massive serving of succulent and fall apart beef, a mound of fresh mashed potatoes and lovely butteryseasoned green beans. The food was fantastic. We had the Sunday roast with lamb, gravy, Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes, and lovely crisp green... beans. We also had a kale Caesar salad that was amazing. The atmosphere was fun and the server was delightful! Read more

Wow! What an awesome place! Just a half block off Kensington road, close enough to be in the excitement of Kensington, but not... close enough to hear the roar of motorbikes speeding by, this place is FABULOUS! The outdoor patio is a great environment andthe indoor pub is very British! They top it off with exceptional service and the most incredible food. It?s a win win allaround. Don?t forget to stop by Sundays for their traditional Sunday roast beef and Yorkshire pudding dinner! Read more
Loved this place back in the day. But today the service was both unfriendly and actually non-existent. After sitting and waiting... 10 minutes, I left. . . . Maybe it was nine minutes? Anyway, what's clear?and you can see this from one of your cameras?is thatyour unfriendly waitress spent those nine minutes cleaning tables, and taking new orders from existing clients without nary aword to me at mine. No excuse for poor service, other than poor training. Which isn't one. Hope things improve. It used to be afriendly corner of the neighbourhood. Read more

Visit exceed expectations. Food not so But take nothing from that comment, from out of town and wanting pizza. Not easy. These... people fantastic and food really great (when set mouth for pizza , hard to reset) but staff and whole atmosphere made me rethink " why pizza ?" This place has it all. Beautiful/ wonderful/socialbel staff members fantastic micro beer ( only had 2glasses of certain beer recommended upon my first choice not available. going to become a favourite of mine. I don't name norFacebook or such. But small local pub is exactly what everywhere and everyone needs. And sorry for comment on food. Wasexceptional but wow too much. And fault is mine.
