A great little place to stop in for a quick pint and appy! I don't live in the area and have never been to this place. It's very... rustic with a strong Celtic feel. Shocker, given the name! We went there before our annual scooter rally riding event on a Sunday and they bent over backwards to accommodate our large... group (but it's only fair to give them advance notice). They offered a set menu of three different delicious brunch treats tohelp us both out. This isn't our first rodeo at Kildares and we will be back for sure! First time going to this pub and we were pleasantly surprised. Our appetizer spinach artichoke dip was excellent . For our main... course we had the beef and barley soup and gardenia pizza and to finish off we had the sticky date pudding. All of the food wasexcellent and the service as well . Place has been upgraded since my last visit. You can tell the Chef takes pride in his food and desserts. Drinks could be better... though, so one star lost from the bartender. I had the Hunter Chicken and it was amazing. Creme Brulee is fantastic and asurprisingly large portion, but that's expected for $9.50 a serving. Read more
