Since 2013 because a Korean friend I start being interested in the Korean food. I have visited at list 10 restaurants in Calgary... . Kiwa Korean Restaurant, located just across of Deerfoot city mall is in my top list. Thee we food taste amazing and the priceis very attractive. Their service is excellent. Delicious korean food and friendly staff! I got the kimchi stew and good news to the meat lover, they definitely do not cheap... out on the meat (wink)... The food is authentic and tastes great (including the sides). Their menu has a lot to choose from..the only thing I would add is l bulgogi stew. Great location! Near dearfoot city and there are a couple other great storesnearby. Overall, give it a shot if you are in the area :) will definitely try some other items on their menu. Read more
Really enjoyed this place not crowded and that was okay I got a lot of attention from the owner who is my waitress and I think... her husband to cook. Everything tasted really delicious the portion for great. I had a beef soup with egg and it was just abeautiful portion of beef right off the bone. And the pork stir-fry that I had was just gorgeous with a subtle hint of spice,cleared me up no doubt. I will be coming back here anytime. Read more
Well appointed authentic Korean restaurant, clean , courteous staff and ambient atmosphere. Good pandemic safety practices.... Food was excellent compared to the other places that leaned more toward fusion. Good price , generous portions. Very flavorful.We had 5 side dishes included with the 2 dishes that we had ordered the Beef Bulgogi jinsik and Kiwa special noodle. Definitelyrecommend. Read more
Place is always empty when we go, but I don?t understand why. This restaurant is so good! Best bibimbap in the city, and is the... only place I?d ever even consider ordering it. Other menu items also great. Well priced, homey/comfortable, and delicious.Please stay open! Read more
