Tried all their biriyanis. Is the biriyani good? - definitely yes. Is it THE biriyani that we all know back from home?-... Nope. Meat to rice ratio is not ideal. The biriyani is batch-bulk make and not stored properly as the rice was quite dry.Ideally, they should be making fresh and smaller batches. I am sure many will be more than happy to wait 45 minutes for a pot offresh biriyani. The place has potential. We went here for the first time and had an amazing experience. The food was to die for, such great flavor and in a timely... manner. We had the masala paneer, butter chicken, afghani Tikka, butter naan and mutton curry. It was absolutely fantastic. Thestaff members were super friendly too. Bright & vibrant lighting for both restaurant signage outside, and interior ambience. Food was amazing; big portions and good... balanced flavours. Chicken biryani and Butter chicken (mild) had large chunks of tender chicken. The things had a kick but didnot overpower with heat. The Naan size is HUGE; maybe 1 order is enough for 2 people to share. Wash everything down with asmooth but not too thick Mango Lassi and it?s all (chef?s kiss)???? the menu selection is more concise and not like 10 pageslong. The servers were positive and friendly. Great kababs and chicken dum biriyani. The kabob platter was one of the best kabobs we have in Calgary. Chicken dum biriyani was... yummy too. It was topped with chicken 65. We went for a family dinner to Marhaba. Previously we had eaten their biryani and chicken 65 and liked it . This time we wanted... to try their bbq platter and mandi . We also ordered apollo fish as it a unique dish reminds me of my days in Hyderabad. Theplatter was excellent . The beef and chicken was flavourful and right spice level . The apollo fish was authentic, even my sonenjoyed its different taste . The lamb mandi was okayish . We left the feedback to the owner who was courteous all the time.Recommendation: I wish they had more desserts to offer then just gulan jamum and could offer some variety of drinks . Read more
