Fish taco was really good but very messy to eat as it was overfilled, slaw was a little weird as huge pieces of peppers. Overall... meals were all good but everything at our table was super dusty from the top of our bench to all of the light fixtures. Outstanding customer service on my take out order. From greeting on the phone, through pick up and the last bite. Portion size... was way larger than I expected. The food was clearly made fresh nice quality meal. This was our first time here and will notbe the last. Read more
Having reviewed several restaurants recently that deserved 5 star ratings, I had to lower my expectations after my first time... here. There has been a change in ownership so that might account for the difference from other Milestones locations I havevisited in the past. The food is adequate but not stellar. The service was good but not outstanding. Therefore this place meritsa 3 Star rating which is average (neither great or horrible). It was not super busy but it took some time before our mealsarrived. The manager must have noticed this because we were offered free deserts to compensate for the delay. We didn't expectthis courtesy so I would have given a higher rating based on the service but, ironically, the deserts took even longer toarrive. This was baffling because most deserts are prepared in advance and just need to be plated and served. With regards tothe meal, I had the Portobello Mushroom Chicken with Spaghetti and immediately realized that my tastebuds have been spoiled bygoing to some nice family owned Italian restaurants who do a much better job. I do understand this place is owned by a chain sotheir food items are products that must meet a consistent standard. To be fair, customer service depends on the personalitiesof individual servers so it can vary from time to time. This review is based solely on one experience so please look at therating based on the average of multiple reviews when deciding whether or not to try this location of Milestones. I see that somepeople have had great experiences and others not so much. Also, there may be other items on the menu that are better but I'm notsure I will return as there are so many great dining options in this city. Read more
Milestones is always a favorite spot for us to visit when in Calgary. The wife really likes their Bellini's but unfortunately... on this trip, their slushy machine had been recently cleaned so it was not ready for service. We were not overly hungry so wepicked just appetizer for this visit. We picked the Coconut calamari, sweet chili chicken bites and wham-bam shrimp. As usualthey were all tasty and quickly devoured. Met up with 15 of my friends after such a long time and we had an amazing time celebrating the birthday of a couple of our... friends. Each of us ordered different entrees and everyone enjoyed the food. I had the Sirloin and Seafood and it was one ofthe best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Notwithstanding the great food and awesome get together, Lauren , our server, wasjust the epitome of efficiency and great service. She was so patient with us and everyone thought she was the best!
