Mitillini?s has been a favourite of mine for quite a few years. A hidden gem, as it were. Well, no more. The quality of food and... service has declined to the point that I suspect I have visited this establishment for the last time. Tonight, there were maybefive tables occupied. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. When it did, we noticed the medium pizza was now the size ofthe previous small. Also, the amount of cheese and toppings on the pizzas has been reduced by about half. My garlic bread wascold, and was slathered with cold, unmelted garlic butter. (Gross). In the end, a meaningless apology for the long wait wasissued, along with a few nonsense excuses, but no offer of a reduction on the bill. In fact, the server managed to charge $3.25for a kids pop, (the same as an adult one), but it?s only half the size. This is not the way to retain customers. We overheardanother waitress complaining about having to serve a large table that was seated close to us. How unprofessional. I understandthat ownership has changed in the last 5 years and it?s starting to show. So disappointed that another favourite restaurantisn?t at all what it once was. Read more

I've been going to this restaurant since I was a teenager but I'm basing this review on my recent experience. I'm so... disappointed in the experience my family had. First our server was beyond rude and miserable and we found out she went homesick. It took at least 45 minutes to get our food which was not even that great and no apology for the wait just excuses. Therewere only 3 other tables of customers so I found it unacceptable. My 6 year old got meat balls that looked like they were mademonths ago which she wound up getting stomach cramps and vomited from. It'll be a long time before we ever go back which is ashame because it's one of our favorite places. Read more

My family has been ordering take out from Mitilinis for close to 20 years and they have never disappointed. I haven?t ever paid... attention to the price but these last two times, I have raved to my family about how reasonable the cost was. This time Iordered a donair, baked lasagna with meatballs and 2 chicken strip meals for only $42!! The donair was a foot long, there were 5huge perfectly cooked chicken breast tenders in EACH order plus a mountain of fries and the lasagna fed our family of four thenext evening as we had too much food between the donair and 2 chicken strip meals to even start on the lasagna the night weordered it. Three of us came in on a Wednesday night, restaurant was less than half full and it looked like only one server was working.... Took 20 minutes before taking our drinks and meal order, and then another 15 before the drinks were brought to the table. Fooddidn't come for more than an hour after taking our order, and we were the last to be served in the restaurant even though wearrived before others. I normally like to support local businesses, and the food was decent, but this being our first visit Idoubt we'd come back because of the slow service. Read more

The service was soooooooo slow. Like, I've never seen service this slow and I've waitressed a long time. The food was good... enough quality but not worth the 45 minute wait when we were 1 of 3 tables actively in the restaurant. About 20 minutes to get acoke and 2 waters. Not sure what happened, if it was just an off night but I won't be back anytime soon. Read more

We picked up pizzas here, and they were delicious. The staff were quick and friendly. We will be back to eat in another time.
