Apparently Momoko means stray cat in Korean. My family and I often eat here. Great healthy food and warm hospitality. The lady... that serves you is very friendly and you can taste the love that goes into each dish. Sometimes it takes a while to get yourmeal but the wait is well worth it. I don't mind the wait as we never get enough time to connect with pur kids. This is our goto place. My kids love it too ages 11 and 18. Read more
Visited MoMoko Sushi with my husband this past weekend and tried sashimi along with the fire roll platter. This sushi is tasty... and very reasonably priced! Giving it a 4 stars because there are options that taste slightly better in Calgary, but for a quickbite that won't break the bank this spot is worth the stop. Thank you! Read more

Great service, great atmosphere, and of course great sushi rolls & sashimi. Owner and daughter are super friendly. Always fresh... ingredients. I've eaten there over 20 times and have never been disappointed. The prawn Tempura is the best I've had and theDragon Roll is fantastic. They also have some handmade soap for sale. Read more
I was looking forward to trying this place based on the reviews, but ended up terribly disappointed. This small family operated... shop is unfortunately run by only the mom. I had to wait for her to finish making another customer's food before she could takemy order and prepare my meal. 45 minutes later, I finally got my lunch. The salmon was terrible quality and rolls were filledwith mostly cucumbers. Would not recommend. Read more
We are loving the variety of sushi places opening up in our area and Momoko just adds to that. It's a small restaurant in a run... down looking strip of business building. Two lovely ladies work here and we know it'll become a staple in the area. The foodis both delicious and affordable. We ordered food just before their dinner menu came into play and got to order one of theirlunch combos. We loved that the combo came with a Korean seafood pancake, makes it so different from others. For only $10.50,you got the pancake, salad, a california roll and 2 pieces of sushi and a pop. What great value! We add a couple more rollsand a bibimbab. The bibimbab was a good size and the egg was made to our liking, just sunnyside up. Loved it. The rolls wepicked weren't that great, they ended up both being california rolls with something different on top. haha.. we will have toorder different rolls next time. Tried a little bit of everything and the spicy sushi platter did not disappoint. The sushi rolls themselves were a generous size... and they tasted delicious. The tuna sushi burrito while delicious is very similar to the tuna sushi rolls so if you're lookingfor something on the go then the sushi burrito is your friend.
