Normally a good experience, but listing you're open until 3:30pm means I should be able to order from the sandwich bar at... 1:55pm....but I couldn't as they were too busy closing down the station and scrubbing the griddle. Read more
Solid breakfast buffet, and solid made-to-order breakfast grill. Sometimes the food is inconsistent, the toast comes out... undercooked, or the bacon overdone, but for the price, and the speed, it really can't be beat. It's open early during COVID aswell which is a huge plus. Read more
It's very frustrating that you say you close at 3. The hot buffet at 2. But then I just went down there at 1:45 and everything... is put away. If the hot buffet is open until 2 to they shouldn't be putting it away til 2. Read more
The place (Bow Valley Square, 205 5 Avenue SW, Calgary) was extremely crowded at noon on a weekday in Calgary, serving the... downtown lunch crowd, but that is as it is supposed to be! The selection - astronomical in scope, is well laid out, and allowsfor easy perusal by the customers who are scanning everything on display. There is sushi, soups, salads, hot dinners, (just toname a few items) and plenty of varied desserts. One can make a custom sandwich or buy already prepared ones, and there issomething for everyone's taste. The drinks are just as varied, so the choice is overwhelming!! Seating is available throughoutthe area in the food court, so tables are available (we found one even at the height of the lunch rush). Checkout is fast andthe cashiers are friendly and efficient. A great fast food type market for a quick lunch during work. The lines move very quickly with lots of staff at the till. The... cold food is quite varied and very good quality for the price. While the hot food can take a bit sometimes, it's delicious andwell worth it's low cost. Compared to other places like it, the prices for the value just can't be beat, a staple for worklunches!
