This was an excellent experience, we had so much fun with the staff and the people at our table. The food was perfectly cooked.... The only reason out gets 4 stars is because we ordered the Japanese wagu beef, priced at nearly $200 for one plate. The steakwas maybe 4 oz. Husband and I shared it. It was underwhelming for sure. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice and the staff are super welcoming and friendly. Our chef , Tom was very... entertaining when preparing everyone’s meal in front of us. Overall it was a great experience and that is what your paying forwith that price tag. The sushi was amazing and super flavourful, as well as the wagyu gyoza (halal). Emmm… was holding high expectations before walk in. But actually is really not that match the price you paid. Mostly the cost... goes to watch the chef performance and the atmosphere. Food is only fast food quality but with such a high price tag. We orderedbeef and chicken with fried rice. Its okay but not very surprising. It was very entertaining. The best way to celebrate a birthday in Calgary. I love the artistry of the chefs and they were... engaging. The wagyu and Alberta steak were tender and simply the best.
