Overall had a pretty good experience. We were celebrating a special occasion but the server never asked so I guess that was a... bit of a missed opportunity. The atmosphere is unbelievably beautiful - cool chandeliers and hanging plants everywhere. A lotof very cool details in the atmosphere, aside from being almost smothered by a plant really close to our table. I would considerit a pretty big step in the wrong direction to not offer, or even be able to offer a beautiful menu. They have those smartphone scan things but we were there for over half an hour before we finally managed to procure a not so presentable paper copyof the menu. It was laughable and totally started the evening on the wrong foot so hopefully the business will get it togetherwith offering actual menus in the future. Food wise I was pretty impressed, except with the pork belly appetizer. It waspretty soft and not a great texture. The duck dish was quite awesome and the seafood dish was good too, just a little small/toolight/could have used more bread or some kind of starch. Dessert was good, the chocolate cake was so tiny and kinda like adressed up version of a hostess wagon wheel. Not bad by any means, but my BF had to get more food when we got home because theportions were so tiny - and we had 3 courses! I guess I share quite a bit of of criticism due to my high expectations, but thisplace was pretty cool spot and a solid 4 stars, and I'm definitely grateful to experience it. We came here for brunch, and all the food was unbelievable because it was amazing! We ordered Eggs Benedict with Smoked Duck... Breast and Yellowfin Tuna Sandwich with Green Salad. Be sure to ask for more ketchup to have with the fries. And their beautifuldecoration must be on the list to visit this place. I celebrated a special occasion with my parents this afternoon and we had a great lunch! We liked the tiger prawns so much we... ordered not one, not two, but three servings! The grilled romaine was a recommendation from our wonderful waiter and it wasdelicious. The spinach pasta was also phenomenal. Had fathers day brunch here with the kids. The kids loved it. Was fun. Atmosphere is good with lots of plants. My daughter... noticed lots of eco friendly things. Our friend who had dietary restrictions was very well accommodated. I highly recommendgiving this place a try. Read more
It was very pleasure to have a lunch there. All of my friends were very satisfied. During the last 3 weeks, I went to Orchard... again, in fact weekly basis. Still excellent server for my daughter’s birthday and my friends. However, I, my daughter and myanother friend who were before noticed foods are getting saltier. I think this restaurant is gem of Calgary. Very tasty veganfoods as well as creative, innovative menus. However one of charming point of this restaurant was offering not so salty foodsand little bit sad that the factor is fading. Read more
The atmosphere was indeed casual elegance. Had a great business dinner here with a few associates. Great ambiance and vibe.... Staff were friendly and non-rushed. The menu was simple and on the smaller side so very easy to navigate. Cocktails and foodwere cooked to perfection and I found it to be reasonably priced. Read more
Let me say that I used to be in the hospitality industry for a long time and have had my fair share of experiences around the... world. This was by far and away one of the smoothest customer service experiences I have had. The food was top notch, thecocktails were brilliant and the company I had, even more so. I loved their brunch, very accommodating by letting me have both options when it’s one or the other for their menu item. The... food was delicious as well and the decor is amazing, very aesthetically pleasing. My only complaint is that they only had oneperson working on the floor with 4-5 tables and it took forever to flag them down for drinks and ordering. But I guess to cutcosts, that’s understandable. I would come back here again, wouldn’t mind trying their dinner menu as well. Read more
