Very busy, make sure to reserve a table when coming on Saturday evenings! We were lucky to get a spot at the bar. Awesome decor... and nice atmosphere. You can watch the cooks prepare your food. The staff is super friendly and really knowledgeable. The foodtasted amazing! The spicy tuna on crispy rice was for sure our favorite. What a nice experience to try new and extremelyflavorful foods! Food and drinks are both pretty good but it is on the pricier side. They also forgot to bring our short ribs the first... time. Brussel sprouts - super yummy especially with the fried rice cake Oxtail tortellini - personally felt that truffle tastetrumped everything else, couldn’t taste the oxtail at all Pork belly and short ribs - both are pretty good but felt like theportions are small Their drinks are definitely worth a try, they are pretty unique Read more

Really enjoyed our visit. Server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We got to try a variety of dishes...they were... amazing! We especially loved the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice, the Brussel Sprouts, and the Crispy Tofu. It's a great place to goon a double date. Everything was full of flavor. The Cucumber Basil Soju Smash Cocktail was refreshing...And of course wine isalways good. Can't go wrong with this place! Read more

Came around 8:30pm on a Sunday for a late dinner and then place was still pretty packed. Luckily, there was a table for 2 so we... didn’t have to wait and were seated quickly. Food was delicious, service was very friendly and prompt! The ambience and musicwere great too. Bathrooms were clean - tampons and deodorant sprays were provided. The mushroom ramen carbonara was reallydelicious - loved the hint of truffle flavour. Spicy pork bulgogi was well portioned. Pork belly was well cooked and the lettuceplate for it included some Thai basil. Definitely want to be back to try some of their other dishes. Highly recommend thisplace! Read more

Food was so so. Mushroom Ramen Carbonara was too salty and spicy pork bulgogi was bland with too much sauce like soup. Pork... flavour was too strong. Pork belly and cumin lamb was so so. There was a sour taste in the lamb. Side dishes was so so and needto be improved first. Too much gochujang sauce for KFC sliders and the Korean fried chicken was just ok. Also wasn’t impressedby tuna on crispy rice. The best was the truffle yam fries however it’s overpriced for it and can be easily made at home. Wasexcited for Anju’s chef’s reopening but won’t come back tbh. Drinks were so so too. Read more

First of all, amazing service, they were very attentive, friendly and you never had to ask for refills, someone was always on... it. The food was delicious. The seasonal and in-house made banchan served alongside the meal was amazing and so flavourful.Everything tasted so fresh. The bulgogi and beef short ribs were very tender. Beef tataki was some of the best I have tried inthe city. Great flavor all around, I can’t wait to try the KFC sliders- watching those go out of the kitchen were mouthwatering, on top of that their in house made oxtail tortellini looked wonderful. So many great options I can’t wait totry!! Will definitely be back, my compliments to the chef and this wonderful restaurant. Read more

How did I not hear about this place before? Popped in here during LilacFest2022 and was pleasantly surprised to see a cool... little dining room with great decor. Service was on point, and checked on us often (that's a HUGE thing a lot of placesmiss). We ordered the Crispy Tofu and the Oxtail Ravioli. VERY GOOD items. Sharing items for sure. Quality, taste, presentation was top notch. We did try the Mushroom Carbonara. We liked the presentation of the egg to mix in and flavour wasgood, but it did lack a "finish" on the palette. The portion was good and hearty, so we were able to take it home, but evenon a reheat, it needed a finishing touch. The menu did offer an upgrade add on of Lobster, but we didn't opt for it this timearound. Would come back for sure for more items to try and drinks to sip on. _________________ @heyAndyYYC on IG for morefood adventures and shenanigans Give us a follow _________________ Read more

My wife and I have been frequenting Roy’s kitchen since they opened almost every week (sometimes twice / thrice) for dates or... with our kids. Huge THANK YOU to Chef Roy and the amazing team. With my wife’s allergies and food sensitivities to soy, dairy, and gluten, you can only imagine how difficult it’s been to have Korean food, which is something I personally lovehaving grown up with a lot of Korean friends and it being one of my favorite cuisines. Chef Roy somehow manages to accommodatemy wife’s allergies, with no compromise to flavour or structure! Personally, I couldn’t event tell any substitutions weremade. A testament to his skill, craft, and knowledge of ingredients. Everything we’ve had was spectacular - we’ve literallyhad 70-80% of the menu. Special shoutout to the KFC sliders modified for “Yana’s Allergies”! ???????????? we can’t haveenough. Laura is always a great host and every one of servers are amazing, kind, and really attentive. Looking forward to moregreat times and food at Roy’s Kitchen, with our kids and friends! Read more
