Very disappointing. My husband Peter and I were here for our anniversary. Dinner was fine, food was good but we were rushed... through dinner and told we had 20 minutes to order and eat dessert before they closed at 8:30. As this was our first anniversaryout post covid and we were out for a nice dinner however we understood if it was a quiet night. Not 10 minutes later at 8:10,two or three more tables were seated, ordered bottles of wine and started to look at the menu. I am quite sure they would nothave that consumed, dinner eaten and out in 20 minutes. Our server brought over our bill and rushed away, no one asked how ourmeal was etc. We looked forward to coming and trying this place out for some time. We have frequented the cafe numerous timesand I can't emphasize how disappointed we were in our dinner experience. There are a lot of great Italian restaurants inCalgary. We won't be back. Read more

This was our first time here. Wonderful atmosphere and our supper was amazing. Our waiter Laren was by far the best we have ever... had. He made our dining experience even better. He was very attentive and has a great sense of humour. I will make sure he isworking and that we get his section the next time we return. Read more

This place is a deadly feed. Very good food. Don't be fooled that it's inside another storefront and labelled as a 'market'. The... dining area is quite nice, service was good, pricing was reasonable as well. The veal parmigiana is was very good. If you can,try and leave room for the chocolate cake they have for dessert. After regularly ordering from Sauce a few times a month we will be stopping our business there. This offensively sized portion... of $23 pasta is the reason. After contacting the restaurant they assured me this was all I would get for $23. We feel completelyripped off and no consolation was made. Read more

A really enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and staff were all friendly and lovely.... We ordered the bruschetta trio for a appetizer (which was SO good that it was inhaled and I forgot to take a photo, rare). Thebread it comes with is soft on the inside, lightly crispy on the outside, and had a sweet finish to it. Paired amazingly withthe trio of bruschetta it comes with, and they give you enough to slather each piece of bread. For entrees we got the capresepasta and the carbonara. The caprese was balanced well, and finished with crispy capers that were so good. The carbonara wasdone masterfully and cooked to perfection. Lots of bacon, lots of peas. Food came out piping hot. Very happy. Finished with thestrawberry milkshake Panna cotta and a skor cannoli. Fantastic cannoli, it's clear the ingredients are fresh and the cream wasperfect. The Panna cotta was unexpected and came in sort of a skinny glass vessel instead of its traditional shape, and youscoop it like a parfait. But also very tasty, the taste of strawberries was very refreshing and definitely not artificial. Sofull they could have rolled us out of the restaurant afterwards. Great local spot, delicious food that is very reasonably priced! Great for families or couples. Would definitely recommend.

Really amazing food?I very much prefer vegetarian so I?m glad that they had quite a few options. Unlike most other Italian... restaurant the more expensive it gets the more seafood there is. They are super quick for service. My family had to catch aflight so our food was brought out within 10min of ordering. There is parking behind the building but also on the street besideit. Read more
