The two festive dinners we bought were excellent. The cheesecake with strawberry was great but could have used more strawberry... topping (but I love lots more than some) . The baked potato substitute surprised us as more than expected, they were largepotatoes (excellent). This was an end of week treat for my wife and I. She is very special and deserves the best. She got it.The cashier an older lady was very helpful . She showed me I could get AMA rewards. Thank you this is a better location thananother I visited. Very professional, helpful to clients. I ordered from the Memorial drive location. The chicken sandwich festive meal. The sandwich was sloppily put together and not... appetizing to look at the bun it was on was hard as a rock.. The other dissapintment was the "slice" of pie. It looks likesomeone took the regular slice of pie then cut it in half. More of a sliver than a slice. I go to Swiss Chalet at least once amonth. And order it delivery at least once a month. So i have had the pie before and know the size it should be. Verydissapointing overall. Read more
First, the place has dim lighting but at least it wasn?t cramped. Second, one of the staff who assisted me and my companions... seemed like she wasn?t in the mood to serve. I hope she?s okay, though, and at least the second server was much friendlier. Thefood was okay and it was actually more than enough for me. We had a good experience with all the chicken and the portions were very large and filling. It was extremely empty and no one... around which was okay with us. Ordered 2 quarter chicken dinners with fries. Got 1 than the second was a chicken sandwich with a plain baked potato. When I... called I was told can I give u a replacement when u come next. Took my first name in a hurry and messed up the phone number.When you have a complaint I would suggest you pay proper attention to the customer and stop being distracted by everyone elsearound you so you actually live up to your promise. What's the point in ordering food waiting 20 mins and get the wrong order.Pointless. Doubt I will be back. If I could give you a 0 I would have. You were wrong and should have done everything to keepthe customer happy. Instead you were more interested in getting me off the call. Still loving the Canadian classic of comfort food chains that is Swiss Chalet. Had a great dinner and service from our waitress.... Not a lot of update to this location esthetically in a few years, but was nice to see the holiday decorations going up inconjunction with the festive menu being rolled out.
