The photo of the Malaysian curry combo in the menu looked so appealing that we thought we should give it a try. We chose seafood... for the protein in the curry. It did not taste as good as the photo looked but it wasn't bad. The seafood was deep-fried and thecurry tasted like generic curry...kind of a mix of Portuguese sauce and Japanese curry without all the Malaysian spices. Thewonton noodle, on the other hand, met our expectations and was true to the menu photo. There were whole shrimps inside thewontons and the noodles were perfectly al dente. This is a good stop for a quick bite. The staff are efficient and friendlyenough. I think next time, we may stick to the HK-Cafe style type offerings and not to try the non-Chinese exotic items. Duck meat taro pastry: It was really crispy, not so oily and the duck meat was sweet. Usually it can get pretty heavy eating... more than one. Steamed scallop shrimp and pork siu mai with black truffle: Honestly, probably my favorite as the shrimp wasreally bouncy and a hint of sweetness. The pork siu mai was really tasty and juicy. The scallops was really strong and pairswell with the truffles. Stewed Chicken feet and peanut in abalone sauce: braised chicken feet was okay, the sauce was a bitlight and a bit sweet. Crispy noodle with dried scallop and enoki: scallop and enoki mushroom was a plain with the noodles. Thesoup was really thick, so that helped add flavor. Steamed chicken feet in special sauce: The chicken was chewy and littlesweet. It was comparable to other dim sum places, just okay. Steamed wild yam chicken wrap: Big Chinese mushroom with spam, soft bitter melon, and bean curd skin. It was just okay. Fried ho fan with beef: Not so oily, same as other Chinese places. Ihad a lot of bean sprouts and the noodle texture were cooked well. Rice crepe wrapped Chinese dough and fried pork on top: Justokay as the Chinese doughnut was not crispy and the rice wrap did not stand out. The sauces stood out as the peanut and soysauce was flavorful. Overall: The atmosphere and the decoration was really nice as it's memories of old school dim sum withoutthe employees pushing the carts. Be prepared to find parking and waiting for a table as it gets busy. Read more

A pretty authentic Cantonese style restaurant. Food comes out piping hot and in good shareable quantity (or as a self meal I e.... The baked casserole dishes). The service is quick and direct (the usual standard of an efficient chinese restaurant). Thelocation is clean with a lot of seating available although it can get fairly busy. The food has great flavours and is notexcessively salty or oily which also incorporates it's cooked with good wok heat. Would recommend coming here - as with allAsian food around calgary, the pricing is higher but it is standard across the board in this city. The authenticity and "maderight" is what would win me over. I saw a lot of Asian walked toward it on Sunday morning. I was shocked by its less than 4 stars review on Google map. I decided... to give it a shot and found every item we ordered were very tasty, even better than what I had in Chicago Chinatown before!! Theenvironment was neat, and we got our orders quickly. The noise level was just like normal dim sum places. Strongly recommend it. Read more

Wasn't expecting the authenticity of this Chinese restaurant. The fish was so fresh. The crab was very flavorful and the lobster... was very special. Came from Toronto where the Chinese food quality in general is considered one of the best ones in Canada. Butthis place is definitely more superior than a lot places there. Must try. Read more

T.Pot is my go-to place for dim sum. They have a great menu, serve everything fresh to order, and have quick service. The queue... has gotten a lot better since they switched to text message alerts rather than the old pucks. The service is also good despitewhat other reviews might say. At dim sum places you can expect efficient service but not a lot of interaction, suits us great! Read more

Dim sum is always delicious here. Depends in what you order it can add up quite a bit. But most dim sum places everywhere are... pretty much the same price. The pastries here are always so fresh and hot and their rice crepe dishes are huge portions. Read more

I really wanted to hate TPot and never return but I love the food. Their service is often a luck of the draw most of the time,... but the food is always amazing. Every time they miss my order or make me wait endlessly for an order, I swear I would neverreturn and yet I can?t find a better replacement. I?ve tried and tried but I keep comparing it to TPot. The past two times, theservice was actually decent which prompted this review. I can forgive the bad service when the food is great but never thereverse. If you don?t care for the service, here?s a place for good Chinese food. Maybe they?re finally trying to improve theirservice? Read more
