Walked in passing the advertising boards outside and the seat... yourself self board, to sit down to be told by the guy behind the bar, quote 'we're kinda closed for a private function', kindaclosed? Came here on a whim one night after checking out the city. Had the Friday special, honey garlic chicken wings, I had the mule... and my boyfriend had the house wine. Everything tasted great considering the price, my favorite was the chicken wings. The housewine was smooth and the mule didn't taste too much like alcohol. The waitress was very kind and personable. Overall pretty good experience! They were out of a couple things we wanted to order but we did come in the middle of dinner rush... so that might explain it. The staff were very friendly and helpful but we felt rushed out. We like to sit and enjoy ourselvesafter our meal but our server kept checking on us and we didn?t want to overstay our welcome. I ordered takeout after a long day of work & I?m so upset. I was excited about these ?jalapeño honey butter wings? as I ordered... this in the summer at this location and they were so flavourful! When I got home and saw the wings (they had no seasoning) I wasconfused, & when I tasted one it had no flavour at all. This was a waste of $20. I called back to inquire if my order was messedup, and the person said he packed it himself. All he offered was that I could get a free lb of wings my next visit. I wouldn?teven eat this quality of food for free, waste of calories and I?m just shocked that they can serve such bland trash. Read more

Awesome watering hole. Great selection of craft beers and excellent food menu. Short skirt waitresses always have a smile. Pool... table and three dart boards for games. Nice TV set up and good seating around bar. Right in the middle of downtown. Good hourstoo. Read more
If I could rate each aspect of the pub on its own then the servers would get more than one star. otherwise, the food is lacking... and overpriced, less than a month ago they were shutdown due to cockroaches, which is likely why they rebranded from pig&duke tothe imperial tap. Everything seems to come from a freezer or bag and there?s literally nothing standout about the preparation ofsaid frozen and ready made foods nor anything that would bring me back. Portion sizes don?t fit the price points and side dipsseem to be ?prepared? and portioned well in advance- to the point where there was a ?skin? on the top of the dip served with mymeal.
