It's a bit between a sports bar and an old pub. The food is pretty good and it's often packed which makes for a fun atmosphere.... Walking distance to Glenmore Lake. Read more

Was ok. Had a friend chicken 'club'. It was good but really it's just a chicken burger. Came with a measly loonie sized dollop... of mayo (aioli?), asked for more mayo and they wanted to charge $1.50 for it when really it should have been on the bun in thefirst place. Place was dead, less than half full but service was still slow. 15-20 minutes after done eating and no word fromthe server, no offer of dessert or more drinks. Had to flag the server down to get our cheque. Read more

Good wings, with mixed sauce flavours (I got buffalo ranch), good heat on the Fuego sauce, and assorted bar snacks. Get the... pretzel - it's fun for sharing. The fried pepperoni is tasty but heavy, and dips great in the Fuego sauce. Read more

Great experience great food. Came to celebrate, my waitress Alyssa was asked to be in charge of the celebration ?shot? and... knocked it out of the park! Jamison with a shooter of pickle juice. She also went the extra mile to accommodate a craving I hadfor a dip that was not offered on the menu. Will definitely be coming back. Read more

Very nice atmosphere and decor. The booths were comfortable and the tables have hooks underneath for your purse (awesome touch).... The service was friendly and quick. We had two appies, the bun was amazing. The aoli on top was so good and the meat was tenderand full of flavour. The Brussel sprouts were another story. They were not cooked well and not seasoned. The cauliflower wasseasoned, but oddly and I couldn?t put my finger on what it was but meh. Would try them again because the buns were so sogood!!! Almost makes up for the veggies, almost. Read more

I?ve loved the Point for years. I just went back after the new Reno and rebranding. I?m Left with a little meh. The decor and... look is nice and a contrast to the old darker self. But the pub is now much smaller and their table set up leaves very fewplaces to sit. The service was exceptional but the food only ok. Historically the Point had amazing wings and nachos. Thewings now are ok but really expensive ($15) and they no longer layer the cheese (they were one of the first places to) so youend up with a pile of chips under the nachos. Add on chicken... $5 for a really small portion. They also missed the mark on thesteak bites. Anyway.... the new Point is not a bad place but also not a place I?m running back too. Read more
