Great food and endearing staff.
Went for a 5-course New Year's Eve dinner and was seriously underwhelmed by the service and the food. Not only were we ignored... most of the evening, the wait staff actually forgot to bring us one of our courses. The main course was completely bland (thefish was like eating tofu and the mashed potatoes seemed like they were from a box) and reminded us of TV dinners from the 80's. Very elegant restaurant. Live pianist is a nice touch we are enjoying our brunch. They have seafood such as sushi, ceviche, and... Cocktails. Carve pit beef on the bone and local ham. Omelet station is great made to order eggs. To have your classic eggsbenedict with ham or smoked salmon bacon and local sausage. Smash Potato greens such as broccoli carrots peas. Fresh breadstation and Wall of donuts. Good varieties on the desert chocolate fondue is fun to create your own dessert. Definitely shouldtry brunch here. Service top notch. Read more
Average. Not a busy place at all inside the Fairmont Hotel. Decor is rustic, traditional but clean. The food is average. The... tuna was good but the salad was a bit bitter for me. The lamb was slightly overcooked. Service was attentive, but just didn'thave the super pleasant vibe of an establishment such as this. Read more
