Took the family to celebrate a birthday and a good time was had. We came the week (Nov 9 2022) they changed to a more... traditional/authentic menu giving us a chance try some tasty new foods, and we also quite enjoyed the tappanyaki entertainment.Good food + Friendly service = Great experience. Absolutely amazing experience. Our chef was very entertaining! Little things to make a special day even more special. Drinks... were pretty good and very good priced. Love the food and the entertainment provided here! I tried the New York steak here and it is absolutely mouth watering and... simply all the flavours will melt in your mouth. Recommend this steak for first timers here since it is very delicious. Themenu is fairly small in comparison to OMO but no problem with that. This restaurant provides the same atmosphere as OMO but Iwould definitely say that the customer service is a tad better here to compensate for a smaller menu. Entertainment wise, thechef is amazing and shows off their cooking techniques and skills to amaze the crowd throughout the entire sitting. I?ddefinitely recommend this restaurant especially if you are living in the north as another similar restaurant like this is waytoo far in the south. This place is a MUST VISIT!!! Read more
A friend made our reservation so I can?t speak to that, we were seated together, with two other small groups but each with a... space between us. Staff was all fully masked, paired with the general noise of the fans and other patrons made a lot of thingshard to hear. Definitely use the coat racks provided at the door, all of our clothing smells like the cooking oil days aftereating. The dinner prices are good considering you get soup, salad, dinner and dessert, the portion sizes are ample and severalsauces almost make it feel like multiple dishes too. The food was fantastic, drink service slow, but all courses prompt and thewhole table accommodated before moving on. The chefs are fun and put on a good show. We?ll definitely be back, with kids becausethey will LOVE the fire. Read more
Came here for lunch with a friend, ordered a few dishes to try and honestly everything tasted really good! However the cocktails... could be better. Had a great experience with friends here for dinner! Chef had a fun sense of humour and made our dining experience very... enjoyable and unique. I ordered the New York Steak and Teriyaki chicken and it was absolutely delicious! The steak was soflavourful with butter and dipping sauces. The combos you get are meant for one person but the portions are pretty big, so you can probaly share and you would still be... full. There are many combos you can get like wagyu, lobster, sirloin, rib eye, and chicken, etc. All combos come with salad,sushi, and miso soup. The combos are on the pricier end ($50 to $100 depending on what you choose) but I guess that's expectedfor teppanyaki. It all tasted really good though! Also loved the atmosphere.
