Tres Marias is a great place for food and items to make your own homemade tacos. The frozen tortillas were very fresh tasting... when rewarmed and quite tasty, also bought their mole sauce for the chicken tacos, the staff were very knowledgeable and sharedsome recipes to simplify the meals, definitely will be returning soon to try out some items on the menu. This little mexican cantina/market is tucked away in a small strip mall in Marda Loop and has ample parking outside. The cafe... has a nice little menu offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Breakfast is offered mondays thru Thursdays from 9-11 andALL DAY on fridays and Saturdays (even hard working Maria needs one day off on sunday). We were there on Thursday evening andeach had a bowl of delicious and authentic tortilla soup then shared a plate of 2 chicken tostadas. The market portion has anice selection of mexican groceries, handicrafts, and cookware with three large industrial fridges full of meals to take homeand tell your guests you've been cooking all day. A hidden gem attached to a tiny supermarket. They have limited seating with some tables outside too. Super friendly staff and... quick service. During our dining experience we were also offered free dessert samples. They have some daily specials too! Theyalso have no preservatives added fresh salsa. You can sample them before you buy. Love this place. Very friendly owner. Got all my dried chillies I came for. But was surprised with a full kitchen! Enjoyed the... Tacos Al pastor that I'd been craving. Lots of food for the price...very satisfying! They also sell frozen prepared Mexicanfoods. Definitely recommended. Read more
Wonderful local option. They carry some delicious food products, some are unique and others are easy to find in grocery stores.... Nonetheless, its a great one stop shop for ingredients to put your own fiesta meal together! I appreciated the food I orderedthe most. It was very flavorful. First time at Tres Marias today with my hubby =)) VERY friendly service. When you first step in the door, you're greeted with a... smile and a kind word. There is quite a decent variety of mexican products. Authentic art and dish wear. We ate Lunch there,shared a pork tamale and Pork Tacos.
