The food here was so close to perfection, yet didn’t quite reach it with every item that we ordered. For example, the ravioli... was delicious, but felt like it could’ve had some sort of vegetable in it. The build your own pasta that I ordered was notflavourful enough for the pesto sauce. The fried mozzarella rice ball could’ve used more sauce for the dish because the riceballs are a tad bland. The cream puff dessert definitely needed to be accompanied with ice cream. So in conclusion, everythinghad so much potential but fell short by a little bit. Overall, food was still good and decent price. Read more
First time visiting this restaurant and it did not disappoint one bit. The food was amazing and both very well prepared and very... well plated as well. You can sit inside, but we chose to sit on the outside patio facing 17th Avenue, which can be a noisybecause of the traffic, but it is always nice to dine outside in Calgary whenever possible. Our server was very attentive andgave us excellent service. If you are in the mood for authentic Italian cuisine I would definitely recommend you try thisrestaurant. Went here for the first time with a friend and I was shocked on how amazing the pasta taste so good! Ordered fettuccine chicken... Alfredo, the blend of all the flavours just melts in your mouth so perfectly that you won’t stop eating. Downside here is theparking, really hard to find a parking space since it is shared with many more businesses around the area. This place is amazingand I definitely recommend it! Read more
We went here for lunch as we just moved into the neighborhood. Heard a lot of great things. Service: It wasn’t to busy when... we went however the service was perfect. No concerns with the staff what so ever. Informative and welcoming. Food: Amazingmenu and if you like pasta, which is why you are there, I suggest bring an appetite because the portions are filling and thereis so many combinations to choose from. Value: I haven’t seen better value in an Italian restaurant. $15-$18 main courses isdifficult to find anywhere now a days. Happy Hour - The happy hour is from 11:00am-4:00pm. Appetizers and drinks are onspecial. A deadly combination for feeling like you want to take an afternoon nap after a bowl of pasta and a glass of red. Wewill be returning many times over. Read more

I came here on a girls trip, we all agreed pasta is the best but what is the best pasta place in Calgary? We did some research... and came across YYC Pasta Bar. First off, the staff are amazing, are waiter was awesome! The food was out if this world, I live2 and a half hours away and I have since went to Calgary just for this place. I am not a huge chocolate cake fan but the waitersuggested I try theirs and I am so glad I did, it was legit a slice of heaven, tasted like a warm brownie but it was light andmelted in your mouth! Price, Value, Quality checked off. I've never had a bad dish, even when we did delivery. Probably one of the better pasta... restaurants in Calgary and I challenge anyone to disagree. There is a reason why they are busy and their reviews are so high,doing everything right. Carbonara is my go to 100%. There are very few restaurants where you want to lick the plate cleanand...good thing they have toasted bread, save it for last. Read more
