Made a reservation but they didn’t seem to reserve us a table…anyway they were pretty slow to get us started and take our... order but once it got in the food came out pretty quickly. The caprese was tasty but I think missed a piece of cheese ;) Lasagnawas good quality and taste but the noodles slightly over cooked. The rice/cheese ball thing was good but wouldn’t get itagain. The star was the seafood pasta for sure. Plenty of goodies in it. One guest made their own pasta with pesto, chicken andmushrooms but the pesto doesn’t have pine nuts so it was a bit lacking. Just simply amazing! Highly recommended! Judging by the outside of this place I would’ve never guessed how big the interior... was. Customer service was exceptional as the staff was always attentive and friendly (A friend of mine took me here to dine inper his recommendation the first time). The portion size of the pasta is a really good amount and in comparison to the price of each dish, 100% recommend to check this... place out. Came here for my birthday and I’m glad I chose this restaurant! The waiter and waitress were super friendly wish Icould remember their names. They have a lot of options and every dish was amazing! My husband and I have been here a few times now. Every time the service is amazing and the food is delicious. They have so many... great options. My husband is vegetarian and he loves that there's so many options for him. The pricing and the portion sizes arewonderful too. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is craving delicious pasta or even chocolate cake. Read more
AMAZING! I had booked a private room for about 20 people and I must say I was incredibly impressed and pleased by the service... and the amazing food experience. The servers were helpful, patient and incredibly kind along with their manager! And the food??Nothing short of amazing. I think amongst all of us we ordered majority of the menu and not a single person was disappointed.You can’t go wrong here and I plan on coming here quite often. This was my first time at yyc pasta bar…and I think it was really good!! The calamari was very crispy, carbonara was creamy... and savoury- maybe a little bit different than im used too, still very nice though. I think the gnocchi was my favourite, it hada lot of mushrooms and a strong truffle flavour. ( ??´?`??) Also the service was superb ???? The guy that helped us was so kindand helpful. Went there on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. We ordered the appetizers and they were disappointing. The only downside to the... appetizers was the sauce for the muscles. Seemed like it was missing something. The pasta came and it was delicious. They onlycritique was of the gnocchi that came with mushrooms, the mushroom flavor overpowered everything else.
