If you're looking for a Cracker Barrel that can actually get your food to you in a hurry with wonderful, friendly service this... is a great choice. These restaurants are a great place to stop when you're on a road trip. But you generally cannot be in ahurry. They'll get you seated and bring you a drink with some biscuits, but your food usually takes a while. But not thislocation! First of all the server was super attentive and moving fast. Secondly our order came out very quickly. This CrackerBarrel needs to win the award for all time land speed record. The food was hot and tasty. It's not gourmet, just good down homecooking. I have been here many times. Always polite, efficient, and professional. Delicious food. Always. Today.... Not so much. Took... forever to seat. Once seated. No server. As one left from attending a nearby table, I asked if she was our waitress. She nodded.I asked if we could have something to drink. Uh... Yeah was her answer. Nope. This was my first time coming . We were close by and looking for lunch so we decided to stop by. The vibes was country American... farmhouse or something . It?s southern comfort food . I recently visited this location and I absolutely loved it. So many nice things with good prices. I picked out a few dresses. My... son picked out few books and some candy. Food was so fresh and hot we didnt have to wait too long for it. Complimentary biscuitswere so soft and hot my son loved it. Plus the hot chocolate and vanilla latte was topped with whipped cream that we bothenjoyed. Our server was very kind and keep on checking with us asking if we need anything. This location has to be by far, the best around. First, I have never had such fresh, fluffy, flavorful biscuits at any Cracker... Barrel like we got here. Somebody in the kitchen is doing an excellent job. Our visit was superior from walking in the frontdoor to exiting and browsing the shopping area. Great food and service. We had a lovely late lunch here. Food was unbelievable good!! Did you know Cracker Barrel is serving BEER AND... WINE?? Unfortunately we had to wait over 15 minutes for a wait staff to greet us at our table. I had to walk to the hostessstand and ask to speak to a manager. She was very apologetic about our wait and said she would have someone right over. She didsend someone right away to take our order that was not to impressed to get our table. We never saw her again. Another reallynice server took over and was very helpful. Thank you for the Great Service after all of that. As a manager in the past, I wouldhave followed up on our table after our food arrived and perhaps offered a free dessert or maybe a light discount for ourInconvenience. A nice gesture would have been, asking us for our Drink order as well and gave it to the Server. They did notseem to be that busy. So I am not sure what the overlook was about!! Food was GREAT!!!
