The Beanery is consistently a top notch breakfast/brunch experience. My usual is a No Frills croissantwich (bacon, egg, cheese),... an Apple Fritter and black coffee. Service is always excellent. I recommend them to everyone. Read more

12:30 pm sandwiches we got were very good and the coffee was good but not great. I ordered 6 macaroons to go at the end (without... checking the price - my fault) and I was SHOCKED that they charged $7 per macaroon for a total of $42 for 6 macaroons!!! Even inbig cities I have never paid more than $4 for a fancy macaroon! Hopefully the cashier did not over charge me. Overall a positiveexperience and we will go back (but definitely no more macaroons!!!) Update: 3:40 pm: I called the cafe and talked a wonderfulwoman and told her about the macaroon prices and she said by mistake they had charged for 12 instead of 6 I bought and sheissued a refund of $21 to my credit card! I am changing mr review from a 4 to 5 star. I should have asked them about the pricein the first price but I was feeling embarrassed (absolutely my fault)! Read more

I wanted something different for breakfast and found this little spot. I had the No Frills and a Caramel Macchiato. Both were... delicious. Will definitely visit again. Read more

I love The Beanery! Their coffee is so good and they have a wide variety of options as far as drinks, pastries, and cafe items,... plus breakfast available all day! One of my favorites is the meatless Italian, it is so savory and delicious. I also love thatthey have the option to order online and a drive through window - the introvert that I am is SO appreciative. I wish I livedcloser so I could go there every day. Oh and possibly the best part - they never run out of oatmilk like the nearby chain coffeeoptions. Read more

I used to be a regular customer, but unfortunately the quality of the food has become inconsistent and the customer service is... as well. The quality of the food depends on who is working. Not all of the employees seem to care about giving the customer agood experience. There have been multiple times when I have gone in and have waited some time for someone to greet me or come tothe register. I also have received pastries that have been stale, and sandwiches made sloppy or missing ingredients. My husbandand friend went in today and had a negative experience. The iced chai was watered down and there were ingredients missing fromthe sandwiches they ordered. My husband went to ask the young lady working about the missing ingredients. She kept her back tohim the whole time and said rudely "We're out of avocado." Good service would be to let the customer know beforehand that youare out of necessary ingredients. I worked as a barista for a number of years and love supporting local coffee shops, butunfortunately this inconsistency has turned me off to going to The Beanery. I think the shop has a great atmosphere, concept, and pretty good coffee, espresso, and tea. But the staff needs to be trained better on customer service and making consistent, delicious food. I've had great experiences in the past, but those experiences have become few and far between. Read more

What a wonderful surprise! Wanted something different this morning before finishing off Christmas shopping and stumbled upon The... Beanery! I would definitely put this in the top 1% of places to eat breakfast or lunch in Southern Maryland. I had the Bean-Ritowhich was egg, ham, onion, avocado, tomato jam, and greens which was savory and delicious, oh and huge also! My wife had the NoFrills, which was bacon, egg, and cheddar in a light and fluffy croissant with arugula and strawberrys drizzled with olive oilon the side. We also split a Bear Claw which was definitely two person size covered in nuts and maple glaze. Cannot wait to comeback and try the lunch specials! Read more
