This was our second time here. We ate at The Hydro Grill 4 years ago on our last vacation to Callastoga, Ca. It was our favorite... place then and it was our favorite place this time as well. Went here for lunch and ordered a lot of stuff. We ordered Garlic Fries, Veggie Pizza, Apple-Walnut salad, Chicken Breast... Sandwich, Veggie burger and a Chicken Quesadilla. We drowned it all down with a couple of beers on the tap. Frankly, everythingwas just about okay. The pizza was too salty and everything else was mild - not too tasty, not bad. It's just ok, but I've had better for less money. The french fries were hard. I ordered the steak medium and it came out pretty... much rare. The half rack of ribs was just 3 ribs. I asked for utensils for take out and I didn't even get a plastic knife to eatthe steak with. Read more

Great place to relax with plenty of options for seating. The bartenders are great and the new winter cocktail menu is amazing. A... popular dish and a must-have is beef stew. It's the favorite among locals and visiting guests. If you are visiting this is agreat place to get to know locals and get to know the great old stories from where Calistoga was a small town with less than2000 population. Read more
