First time in napa? did the cave tour. Lisa our tour guide was very sweet, knowledgeable and passionate about the winemaking... process. The cave tour was very cool and different and had a lot of history. Wine was very good (brut rose and blanc de noirwere my favorites). Only downside was that I like a view of the vineyard on my winery experience but the experience is basedaround the wine caves (if you don?t care about a view of the vines then this is right up your alley). This is a beautiful winery. We were late for 30 mins and receptionist told us there was no way we can join the tour, their... attitude was kind of snobbish . The guide Eva came out said she would skip her lunch and show us the winery and cellar. We wereso happy and Eva is such a great guide. She gave us a great history of the winery and made us visit memorable. She is the best.The vegetation surroundings are very beautiful. Read more
We had a great cave tour tasting as our last stop in Wine Country. You drive way up the hill to reach the estate which, like... many in the region, is full of history but still has family involved / living on property today. The caves are amazing. Thesheer size of the caves and the volume of wine stored in them - mostly hand stacked - is mind blowing. The bubbles aren?t tooshabby either. Highly recommend as one of your stops! ???????? If you love the bubbly this is a must visit winery. The cave tour is amazing with some great stories. Thousands of bottles... nicely stacked. I am not a big bubbly fan but our group loved it. Pat was great and so was the rest of the staff. The groundsare beautiful and tucked away back up the hill. I would suggest reservations. Read more
