Had dinner here with my wife. The place is a whirlwind of servers racing sushi to patrons. It took a while for anyone to... acknowledge we were there. The ceviche is great and the sushi is good. Try the miso soup, I thought they were all the same till I had it here. All other rolls were excellent, but heads up the lobster... roll, forgot the cute name, but it does not have chunks of lobster more of a paste, was still very good, but different from whatwe had imagined. Read more
The plating was lovely, the food was okay. Inside the restaurant however is a faint tinge of urine. My friend and I chose to... ignore it because we were extremely hungry, the service was very slow but I don't know maybe there were take out orders and wejust weren't seeing anyone come get them. My soup spoon had lipstick on it so I set it aside on the table and tried to drink thebowl without a spoon but even the bowl had a strange after taste. The waitress didn't seem to care that I put the spoon off tothe side with the bright red lipstick facing up and was usually gone before I could mention it, rarely ever to return again. I'mpretty sure if I did say anything I would have just received the same spoon with it wiped off. I don't know if I went when the Bteam was scheduled but the rice was very chewy for me and the flavors somewhat lacked so I wasn't entirely impressed. I hate to write a bad review but I hope this will help people make informed decisions to dine here or not. In short, if you like... authentic Japanese cooking then this place won?t do. The food was most certainly not authentic Japanese cuisine and it?s easy totell that it wasn?t cooked in the way it?s supposed to (in Japanese cuisine). I had curry rice to go and picture shows the currysoup I got (curry is supposed to be gravy-like texture and flavor but what I got was a diluted bland soup.) The taste is average, the service attitude is not good, three people gave two glasses of water, we were still chatting, the... waiter kept coming to take our dishes away, and before we wanted to leave, the waiter handed us the check! Very bad feeling,will never go again! Read more
