We had a fantastic time at this spot. They were so nice even though we did not have a reservation! It’s a hip spot with... progressive wines. I cannot wait to return. My second day of my “retirement” from teaching high school was at Tank! Was just a whim to visit... but will never be a whim again. We are members. Our tasting at Tank was one of the highlights of our trip to Calistoga! The crew were incredibly welcoming and spent a lot of... time sharing the intention behind each wine and the creative aspects (e.g. wine label art work). Very cool that each wine islimited edition and that they are more experimental than other wineries due to sourcing grapes from many different vineyards,including the Sierra foothills. The space is fun too - it is a 1930s gas station! Definitely recommend checking these guys out. Read more
Didn't get to try out this great little spot last time we visited the area so we made sure to fit it into the schedule this time... - glad we did...we didn't have a reservation but since it was a Tuesday afternoon they were able to squeeze us in for a tasting.Aaron was our guide through the unique and tasty wines of this eclectic little renovated garage. Definitely different than mostof your Napa Valley wine tasting experiences...which was very welcome and enjoyable. We'll definitely be back - and in themeantime we became "made members" and we'll get to enjoy a few of their wines at home until we do get back out there. Read more
Tank if the most fun wine tasting experience in Napa....and we've been to more than 50 wineries! Their releases are one time... and out blends that are creative and inspiring. The labels are simply awesome....relevant to the Tank culture and just plainfunny. You'll never go to Tank without taking a bottle (or case) home with you. Unique, eclectic, entertaining and relaxing. Read more
Pleasant surprise visit without an appointment although the wine itself was not overwhelming. Staff was very nice and explained... that their wines are basically all unique and release 20 new wines annually. This location was a former old fashioned gasstation converted into tasting room. Restroom is outside along with several tent-covered tables. Read more
I can’t say enough good things about this place. My husband and I didn’t have much time when we were in California to check... out a bunch of wineries. My friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint!! We brought our dog, and he got SO muchattention!!! The bartenders were amazing! I even followed the one gal on Instagram. The wines were all amazing, atmosphere wasdelightful. It’s a retro looking place. I can’t wait to come back and visit y’all when we make our way back over to Cali.Thank you so much for such an incredible experience. Read more
