I was late today getting to Sweet Blue Smoke for the amazing BBQ and they were sold out. I ate there yesterday and it was so... good I went back again today. The best brisket I have ever had, so moist and tender. And their Original sauce is sooo good. Thecollards are slightly peppery with a hint of smoke and vinegar. I also enjoyed the pickled sweet onions.\nI think the one starreview was wrong to criticize the restaurant on their second day of business as the much anticipated opening is a learning curvefor them to figure out the local demand for their products after all the love and sweat they put into the new place. Personal preferences have rated this slightly lower but this is a fantastic restaurant with very friendly service. $16 for meal... including a $2.50 water bottle.\nGET THE PORK BELLY....IT IS EXCEPTIONAL and you won\'t find it anywhere else!\nBrisket was softbut personal preference is having a smoked cherry flavor to meat.\nBaked beans disappointed as I prefer a smoked, cherry flavoras well with a thicker sauce. These beans tasted straight from the can.\n( off the coals BBQ in Easton is still my go to forBBQ).\nBBQ Blueberry sauce was overly vinegary and did not enjoy ( meat was good without it).\nWould be nice to offer a homemadegluten free cornbread.\nFantastic seating decor and still a great choice for BBQ in Southern Maryland. I’ve been so impressed with everything I’ve had from here. I’ve been about 6 times since they’ve opened. Today I was... blown away by the blueberry cornbread with smoked blueberry butter! The mac and cheese is my go to. I could eat it everyday. Theregular cornbread is so flavorful. The cheddar jalapeño sausage is exactly what you’d expect, but better! My husband likesthe brisket, pulled pork, and picked pineapples. The smokiness of their food is just right and not overpowering. Really nothingbad to say and I’m so happy about that! The prices are a little more than I want to pay for lunch or to have it often, butI’ve never been disappointed with my food and have always been full, so it’s worth it. It’s also really cool they havedifferent specials. I’ve been hoping we would get a great barbecue place close by.\n\nJust go! Read more

Finally made it to Sweet Blue Smoke and it did not disappoint! We did a couple of the meat platters with random sides. The... chicken, brisket, pulled pork, and pork belly were amazing! The smokiness of the meats was not overpowering at all, so even thefolks that are not fans of smokey meats will love it! The sides we liked the most were collard greens, green beans, baked beans, and the mac and cheese. The potatoe salad was good but needs a little kick and more crunch, just my two cents. We grabbed a fewof the sauce varieties and we loved them all. The house sauce was my favorite and the hubby loved the mustard sauce. Theblueberry one I was skeptical about, but it was actually very yummy. Cannot wait to go back and definitely cannot wait for theribs they will be adding in the future! We dug in before taking photos. Read more

Absolutely delicious. I live in Austin, Texas so I get a lot of good BBQ. This place scratches the itch. As most fresh food... places go, there is a small wait to get in and order which I don\'t mind bc my food comes out quickly. I love that they go untilthey\'re sold out so then I know it\'s fresh every day! Also, this is pretty normal when it comes to traditional BBQ places. Youcan tell the owners did a lot of research from Austin, Nashville, Atlanta, etc to create something good. Brisket burnt ends as\"floaters\" are a must on anything or just by themselves. Friendly staff. Clean place. If you\'re in Maryland, go early and gooften. Read more

Got the 2 Meat Plate and man was it great! The brisket and the pork were very juicy. I paired it with the homemade horseradish... sauce, and it elevated the dish even more! Side of coleslaw and potato salad were great as well. Can\'t wait to go back! Read more

Amazing BBQ!! We had all three meats, pork belly, brisket, & pulled pork. Coleslaw is nice and saucy but not too sweet!\n\nThe... sauces were out of this world. Favorite was a horseradish sauce that is much darker than a ‘Bama Pearl but still satisfiesthat craving! The Balsamic Blueberry is a nice break from your usual expected BBQ sauce. What I assume was the house sauce hadamazing flavor as well.\n\nWarm welcome to the county and beyond happy to have some Sweet Blue Smoke in the air down here! Read more
