We had a smooth, quick & positive experience here today in the drive thru. Thankfully, there was no line. There are endless... lines at other Popeyes that take forever to move but sometimes, you get lucky here. There have been a couple times where I?vehad to wait 20-30 minutes and it?s definitely been frustrating but I got a free tea once. The other time I waited, it was insideand I didn?t get anything for my wait and I was pretty annoyed because I preordered and paid on the app so my order should havebeen ready but they took their sweet time waiting for the technical issue to resolve itself. But I will still return because 90%of the time, the food is fresh. I?ve had a couple different experiences with different workers; so some are nice, some arenonchalant and some are stingy in that they don?t want to give an extra sauce or they say aggressively that I have to pay?thendon?t even end up charging me (this has happened 3 times) but the cal city location will forever be my Popeyes. (Grade B++) pushing into the A range, but sorry, it's fast food, I can't go into an A grades unless it's pour of this world. But... surprisingly good Chicken Sandwich. Sauce is very good and the chicken was moist. The manager was awesome though. Grade A+ forthe manager. Read more
The staff was polite and working hard, chicken was fresh and fast. Got a family pack my issue was the drumsticks were like... 2inchs long and very small wings which made it hard to evenly split amongst the family. The coleslaw tasted sour like it hadfermented and they don't serve green beans at this location. Read more
Let me tell you....I wasn't happy about the prices due to inflation....but the food was super fresh, tasty and my portions were... inflated. I could not finish my plate. You get what you pay for. And the new manager, she is PHENOMENAL right along with herteam. Clean restaurant at ALL times too. ???????? Read more
Love that Chicken & Fish from Popeyes! New fish sandwich is a hit. Hoping it stays on the menu! Minus 1 ???? because there were... no condiments nor napkins any of our three bags. Normally the Popeye's near Pete's Grocery is on point-- One of the Women always recognized and ask "how you doing"?! Well, today... the Service sucked an egg. The Drive Through person thought I wanted 4 #8's which were wings-- I asked for a #10 chickensandwich combo, and 2 # 9's 5 piece chicken tenders asking for the Mardi Gras Mustard and Ranch Dressings for the tenders. It'ssupposed to be a 12 minute wait NO ISSUES THERE WE GOTTA WAIT ANY HOW! I BE DAMN I get home no Mardi Gras Mustard which is thebomb. This Lady wasn't listening when I ordered didn't wanna name the sodas other then they have Coca Cola Products?????????????and. Dr Pepper, the hell imma do with chicken and no sauce?! Again this used to be my Favorite location since I moved out here.But, the WestSide location at Homan and Chicago taste better, gave premier service and the MARDI GRAS MUSTARD???? On the app it states take-out and drive thru, I place my order on the app for take-out (pickup). Get to the UNLOCKED door and... slips and fall....cracked my phone. Go inside where one employee is sitting at the table with a female customer and her littlegirl (they all seen me fall because the little girl ran to the glass door in shock, goes in and the employee tells me that Ihave to pull through drive thru to get my order....you tacky, unprofessional, ghetto chick. Worse Popeyes...EVER! The service is terrible. No matter how nice you are to them and repeatedly tell them your order, they... still mess it up and then give you attitude when you call them out on it. The managers aren't any better. They are about asworse as the regular employees, so don't waste your time asking for them. Its sad that you have to drive out to get greatservice and fresh food.
