Paid extra for room with a hot tub which was broken when we got there so no hot tub. View was obstructed by untrimmed hedges.... Carpet was dirty. Advertised breakfast but barely had continental items. Bugs were on the ceiling. Tried to contact staffmultiple times but they ignore you. No one ever called back. Read more

Stayed here lose night in a room with a hot tub it was a ?nicer? room it was ok. No ac very hot on the room, the outside looks... like it was nice and maintained before Covid not to great now it was cute but not as seen in the pictures on website. The hottub jets wouldn?t turn on to regulate the temp so couldn?t use it due to how hot the water was when I called they said theywould have someone look at it in the morning I checked out before anyone came. It?s the little cost-cutting measures that give this a 2. Not sure if Covid is to blame, but management appears to be cutting... back on some big and little things. For example, landscaping: bushes needed to be trimmed, especially on the cement staircaseleading down to the waterfront, which in the shape it?s in now makes it almost impassible and dangerous. There was only onesmall trash can in the room located in bathroom, nowhere to put your soap in the shower, just these funky left-behind bracketsthat used to hold the free shampoo conditioner body wash. This inn is pretty much a serve yourself, self checkin/out, noservices, breakfast is minimal but tasty enough. The place is old but parts of the rooms have been remodeled. But a big PLUSis sitting on the porch and listening to the waves and watching the tide run thru the channel. Rates for what you get are highwith a restrictive refund/cancellation policy. Read more
ROOM 8. no view $243 with tax. This is a nice large room, but it is only 10 feet from the main road. We could hear every car as... they splashed through the puddle of water just outside our wall. Most of the cars were going really fast and there are nostreetlights. It was concerning that they were so close. Many loud cars, trucks and motorcycles would wake us up as they wentbuy. Since this room extends out from the main building toward the road, I believe it would be the only room with a noiseproblem. It also has a hot water issue because it is so far away from the other rooms. It took 5 minutes to get hot water andthen there was only 5 minutes available to take a shower before the water went cold. The shower stall is very small and if youdrop the soap, as I did, it was hard to pick up and I am 6 feet and 155 pounds. There are 3 space heaters in the room thatcycled on and off during the night and it took a little getting used to as they were on the right and left side of the bed andin the bathroom. The TV was nice, but the volume and mute controls don?t work and we don?t like to listen to commercials so itwas irritating to have to get up and turn the volume down manually for the commercials each time. Since this was a prepaidprogram, we never saw any Camano Inn personnel during our stay and relied on the combination codes to get into the room and theInn. We checked in at 9PM and out at 10 AM. We checked in the hotel Sunday before labor day. The room was tidy and the view was great. There was a few hours in which there... was no hot water in the bathroom and the problem was fixed but I wish there was someone available to provide notification aboutthe hot water issue update instead of me testing the water. I had to go out to Camano last minute in June due to my mother's death, I was called before I even arrived and explained how to... get into the building and the steps on how to get into my room, I could have stayed in my mother's home but I needed a neutralspace to clear my head. I had a issue with the hot water at first messaged the number they had left and before i knew it someonewas knocking on my door. Breakfast was always out when I woke up before heading to my mother's house and was perfect forgrabbing and running as I had limited time. The grounds are gorgeous and were the perfect get away since it was all overwhelmingand I was so far from home alone. My husband and I are now talking about booking a hot tub room for when I take him to Camano,and I am very excited to return.
