Had a great time here! Me and my girlfriend have never had Filipino food before, and we were excited to see that the spotlight... opened in Camarillo. The environment is interesting, unique friendly, and the staff is super friendly! Also, when they saythat the portions are big enough to share, they are not kidding! Love their original batchoy. No outside sitting but they welcomed our dog inside on a stroller,thank you??. Their garlic fish is... a must and place is a touch of home. Definitely coming back again. Read more
This place came highly recommend for their lechon (full roasted pig). It was the star of the party my neighbors keep telling me... they enjoyed the food so much from our daughter's 4th bday get together. It?s boneless too - original batchoy: love all the different meat cuts & noodle. Thesoup could use a bit more flavor I think (I just add my own chili sauce & sweet soy sauce). we ordered grilled daing na bangus and original batchoy...for me,,,the bangus needs to be marinated or seasoned a little bit... more,,good thing the vinegar and soy sauce made the difference..and the Batchoy....PERFECT!!!! nice location too,,near TheCamarillo Outlet...you can dine in before shopping or after shopping..we went back after a week and tried Grilled liempo and itwas also delicious... Unless you were born and raise in Iloilo Philippines, the Barchoy doesn't compare to the original Lapaz Batchoy. My husband... likes it though . The prices are exorbitant , the grilled bangus (milkfish) was bland and dry. Service was great and the placeis clean. It is typical hangout for Ilonggos/Filipinos. Read more
