The problem with places like this is you don't know what to order because you've never seen the menu items before. At least I... haven't.( I haven't been to France, Ive been to Italy) It's a friendly American French place full of espresso, crepes, Frenchtoast, benedicts, etc. I had the Croque Madame. The mocha latte I ordered was so good, I came back after stopping at the localfarmer's market that was in session and ordered another mocha latte. Wow. Yummy. They are slow to bus the tables, butwhatever--you just clear the table you want to sit at yourself--no big whoop. It's not a full service restaurant anyhow. Forsome, it's expensive, but I say," What the Rimac?" Live a little. I think about all the things I would have never done in lifeif I was so worried about money. The only thing that bothers me is people (customers). Leave your disgusting, dirty mutt athome. What is wrong with you rude people? They do not belong in food establishments. And give me a break, it's not a servicedog. Licensed Service dogs don't act like that. Read more

What a great, delicious, friendly place! The pain au Chocolat is an art piece. The cafe is efficient as well as warm and... inviting so you can stay and chill or grab and go. Worth a trip and a tip! Update: I made a mistake on my order and went to buythe correct vegetarian version and they refused to take my money and remade it - a true class act. Read more
People here are nice but I was so bummed. I ordered their waffle breakfast with sunnyside up eggs and bacon and a cup of tea. It... came out to around $25 or so. I went in right when it opened and on a Saturday. I was the 3rd person to order and it wasn't busyyet. I got my food rather quickly and ended up so disappointed. I was starving and dead tired from working a night shift. Iwanted a nice meal and to go home. I ended up forcing myself to eat the old severely overcooked (also seemed recooked and notfresh) and unbearably salty bacon that turned to powder in my mouth. It wasn't even hot bacon, just luke warm. The "eggs" wasactually just ONE measly egg with chives on top. And I eat it just to find an egg shell underneath! I was like, okay 2 strikesbut the waffle looks okay. The strawberries in the sauce on the waffle were old and dull and when I took a bite... Low andbehold the waffle was undercooked!!! I couldn't even eat it. They offered to recook the waffle but I was too tired for anyconfrontation or anything. They offered a refund but I said "it's okay I'll just enjoy my tea". They gave me a refund anywayswhich I'm grateful for but unfortunately I won't be back. Read more
I took my wife here for Breakfast yesterday because she wanted to go to Camarillo outlet on our way back from Santa Barbara. I... was able to find parking right in front of the place. When we walked inside, there were a couple of tables open for us to sit. Igot the English Muffin Sandwich and my wife got their Strawberry crepes. It didn't long for our food to come out and when I wasputting in our order, I had small talk with the lady servicing us and I told her that we were on our honeymoon. So when she cameto give us our food, she sang for us which was appreciated by us. I enjoy my Muffin Sandwich and my wife really loved herStrawberry crepes. Great coffee and delicious food. I had the breakfast croissant and a cup of coffee which were both great. We also had a waffle... with blueberry and ricotta that was incredible. The cappuccino and americanos were also great. We took a couple English muffins,a chocolate croissant and an almond croissant for breakfast the next day and were not disappointed in those either! Really good! Delicious food. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. The lattes were amazing and they also have... mimosas! Cafe Ficelle is a hidden gem. They have amazing French pastries and offer an awesome atmosphere for brunch. I willdefinitely return for a chocolate croissant. Read more
10/19/2022 this time I ordered cafe La Reine and the Avocado Tartein 1/2 order. Love ?? both the coffee and thr toast. ... Excellent services ????. 1st time -0 star for the Matcha (really sorry, but it is that bad) and 5-star for location andcustomer services. This Cafe is Cute. It is located in a great location with a great atmosphere. There were plenty of seatinginside and outside. But don't get the matcha latte here. The butterfly matcha latte is just milk and sugar, unfortunately. Youcould not taste any hint of matcha. I was hoping for the best but went away disappointed. I will try their regular latte nexttime.
