If you enjoy ramen don?t spend your money here. For how much the bowls cost it?s not worth it. I ordered the shoyu bowl with... pork and it?s probably one of the blandest bowls of ramen I?ve eaten. There were hardly any veggies or meat and the noodles werecongealed (stuck together). Only savior was I took the bowl home and had to doctor it up with some sauces and an egg. Stillfeels like a big loss paying 15 bucks for an extremely sub par ramen bowl. I should?ve known when I saw a bunch of teenage boyswhiter than mayonnaise fixin up the food (bad scene) on a Sunday night. Don?t spend your money here. It?s garbagio Read more

This is one of the few restaurants I?ve been to that offers both quality and quantity. By far my favorite ramen restaurant in... California, I prefer it over the many spots I've been to in the Bay and LA. Nothing else in Ventura County comes close to thisplace. They recently redid their menu and it?s still delicious, their pork is flavorful and fatty, I also always order thicknoodles with my ramen. Read more

Cagami Ramen is hands down one of the best restaurants I?ve ever been to. The food is amazing, the service is incredible, and... the overall experience is one of the best you can get in Ventura County. I also saw one of the servers deal with an extremelyrude customer politely and adeptly this evening, which made me love their establishment even more and want to write this review.Seriously, go to this place. I would go every day if I lived closer. You will not be disappointed! Read more

Very good flavors and American-sized servings. The Tonkotsu broth has a different flavor than other ramen shops I've eaten at in... Japan and Southeast Asia. But that's to be expected. Every shop has their own recipe. The soup was served a bit too cool formy taste. Maybe they do that on purpose so people don't slurp their noodles in the restaurant - LOL. Next time we'll order oursextra hot. I prefer the chashu sliced thin. Here, you get two thick chunks of pork shoulder that you need a fork and steakknife to eat. You could easily get six Japanese-style slices of pork out of the two that are served in the soup. Maybe they alsodo this for American tastes. The pork is lightly fired which gives it an excellent flavor, though. I ordered the curry ramenwhich had a rich, flavorful soup. My wife, who is from Osaka, had the old school Tonkotsu ramen. We also had gyoza, which wasdelicious and I really enjoyed the casual izakaya feel. Read more

Their Ramen was really good, I got the Old School Tonkotsu, and though the bowl looks a bit small in this picture the serving... size was pretty good. Service was also excellent and there are some decent outdoor seating options. Will definitely be back! Read more
