Great owners, atmosphere, story....oh and great wine too! Been tasting there since shortly after they opened the tasting room... about 11 years ago. First place we went wine tasting after returning since moving out of state. They even have cider now! Read more

A great, friendly, little place to visit for some great wine. We always feel welcome here and love to stop in for a glass to... try, a bottle to take home, or just to grab something from the assortment of pasta and olive oil they have set up in the shop.If Tom is there, make sure to ask about the history of Black Hand, great story. INCREDIBLE!!! Is the best way to describe the entire collection of wines being produced by BLACK HAND CELLARS. My background... is food and wine... and not to toot my own horn, but I was a buyer for more than a few 3 & 4 star restaurants. The collectionfrom Black Hand could easily be paired with just about ANY menu. Do yourself a favor.... go taste for yourself. Excellent wines. The winemaker is fun and knowledgeable, and the tasting room is tiny and comfortable.
