I just love it. This was my second visit. We did it as a retreat weekend and it is so relaxing. Even the 5-1/2 hr. Drive from my... location is relaxing especially once you get outside of the city areas. Very rural, quiet, and relaxing, There is some shoppingyou can drive to but it is a little pricey. The staff is very polite. There are coffee makers and refrigerators in the room. Read more

Will definitely be returning! Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The grounds throughout the property are lovely... and well kept. This was our first time here. We were passing though town and decided to check it out as a possibility to spendthe night rather than moving on to SLO. So glad we did. We received a warm, friendly welcome from Joe who went out of his way toassure a great stay. Read more

Cambria Pines Lodge consisted of a number of blocks with motel style rooms set in gardens on a hill above the town. There was an... outdoor heated pool and hot tub, and a bar with live musicians. We stayed for 2 nights in a forest view 2 queenroom. Unfortunately our overriding view of Cambria Pines was that it over promised and under delivered. While we didn’texpect a 5 star resort, at £260 a night we felt that Cambria Pines sadly didn’t reach the standard we’d expect for thatprice. The breakfast was disappointing. The dining room was crowded, the furniture was tired, the worktops and cupboardsunderneath were dirty, and there was a limited choice of poor quality breakfast items. On our second evening, the plumbingbroke and the water was switched off. We reported it to reception using the room phone but heard nothing further. So we had togo to reception to ask what was happening and to request some bottled water. The communication could have been much better. Read more

Our favorite place to stay because there are acres of land for walking, the location is so convenient to everything and the... value is excellent with a nice buffet breakfast INCLUDED! We stayed in the Deluxe King Suite the last time because there was aspecial sale on suites. It was our favorite so far as it is upgraded, stands alone with no one above or below, has a patio, BIGliving room and incredibly comfortable king size bed. Fireplace and tvs in both rooms, plus small fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. At night enjoy live entertainment, have food and drinks, in the lounge. They also have a full service restaurant. Really nice stay. Sure, the rooms are slightly old and it's no 5 star hotel. However, it is perfectly located near the PCH, it... comes with a pool and a hot tub that you can use from the morning until late at night. The breakfast was included and it wasreally good. And the garden is beautiful! Read more

We stayed here two nights in mid-June and had a fantastic time. When we first arrived, the pine forest/ wooded setting was... beautiful. Upon entering the room, my spouse's initial reaction was disappointment at the rustic interior. However, after ourfirst night, he was thrilled that the room's rustic interior matched the surrounding environment and the beautiful grounds. Wehad king suite with a jetted tub (not quite rustic) that was more than spacious enough for our party of three. The space wassuitable to comfortably sleep six people. The fireplaces were a lovely touch and they kept the room warm along with the snugglybedding. The balcony had an expansive, yet slightly obstructive view of the mountains. The grounds are absolutely beautiful andmade for a peaceful walk. The food at the on-site restaurant (on both nights we ate there), was very fresh and delicious, although pricey. The service from the entire staff was exceptional from beginning to end, and made our stay an enjoyable andrelaxing one. We look to staying here again on a future getaway. Read more
