Went in for a tasting and the lady behind the counter made us feel like we were a bother. When I asked her if she could tell us... about the wine she said no! She was rude through the whole experience. When I tried to purchase wine she took my AMX card triedto process my purchase and then threw it on the counter toward me saying it was declined with a smirk on her face. My card hasno limit so I knew that was impossible. I proceeded to pay with another card and it worked. I then asked her if they originallytook AMX, she then told me that they didn?t. I asked why she took my card then? She said ?I always run them as visa and neverhad a problem till you.? I told her that?s not how Point of Sale machines work, you can not run an AMX as a VISA. She said Idid t know what I was talking about and that I didn?t know how to run a business. I have been in the banking industry for over20 years. That Lady should retire or find another occupation other than customer service. I will never go back. My friends thatsigned up for memberships are also canceling their memberships. Best wine tasting experience our group has had in years! Not only were both ladies that served us extremely attentive, but... informative about each of the wine pours as well, giving us a sense that they not only love their work but also the wine theyare representing for tasting which at a phenomenal price of only $5 for 5 tastings is a bargain compared to most tasting room'scharging anywhere from $20-$25 on the Central Coast. To top our awesome experience off they were stellar at making sure mywalking sticks were FEDEX back to me after leaving them behind after we left, maybe that indicates we can?t wait until our nextCambria adventure to visit the amazing people at Fermentation?s! I recently moved here from Utah. So as you can imagine I was unable to really experience a place like this before. The shop is... super cute and classy! The ladies who were working there were super sweet and very kind when recommending wines to try. Evenadvised me on the best order to try the wines to ensure my palate would be able to properly taste the new wines after switching.The vibe is perfect, especially if you are going on a first date or if you just want to go out with friends and try somethingnew! The wine is delicious and I found a new favorite, which I believe is called the silk and spice and the ports are perfectfor those with a sweet tooth! They also have an adult chocolate milk which is fabulous. Highly recommend and plan to order winewith them shortly! Read more
This was our favorite tasting during our wine escapade down the coast. You can pick any 5 wines from an array of different... options. While they emphasize California varieties, this place has some other types from all over as well. On top of that, theservice was excellent. Go here. Unbeatable FIVE dollar wine tasting flight of your choice of any 5 wines from a big selection. Also for sale are... reasonably priced prosciutto, cheeses, and olives to go with your wine. This is a delightful wine bar that succeeds because itdoesn't take itself too seriously like big city wine bars. An air of, "Everyone is welcome!" is the general vibe of this placeand it is fantastic to feel but at the same time is not full of scumbags, d-bags, or jerks :) The service was quick andattentive, and Shery and Pat were genuinely warm and welcoming. Shery was specially sweet and took the time to tell eachcustomer a little about the wine they selected and she did so in a genuine and friendly manner even though she does it severaltimes. Such a fun afternoon there, nice wines and a wonderful and knowledgeable server. Absolutely recommend a stop by ????????
