Food used to be so good, now it's sub par. The service is really slow. Customer service needs work and the food need to improve.
I got the oxtail, rice and coleslaw salad here. The food was pretty good. Some of the staff are nice, but there are other... employees that are quite sulky. I'm not sure why, but almost every time I have arrived for the beef patties, there were soldout. Morning, afternoon, and evening. One staff member told me that they only have them in the mornings; when I showed up duringthe mornings (at different times), they were not ready, or sold out. Doesn't make sense. If you're in queens and want just an explosion of deliciousness in your own home? Then this is the place to pick it up from.... It's my go-to spot in Jamaica for cheat days. They have the best oxtails and vegetable rice around. The rice is seriouslyaddictive. They also have a slamming hot sauce. You have to ask for the real hot hot sauce tho. Because they used to give meanother hot sauce before a regular told me of this one. If you like perfectly spiced, fall off the bone, absolutely deliciousoxtails. If you also like them with magic rice that you can eat buckets of till you explode in delicious rice goodness, thenthis is the place to get it from. They do not have any seating. The food was as good as expected but the cashier who attended to me was unbelievable. I wasnt so sure of the gravy I wanted so I... told her to add just any gravy. She muttered something under her breath. And I got home to realize she didnt put any gravy! 3stars for the food only Read more
