LOVE The Cellar and their wine!! We had their wine at our wedding and it was a big hit! Josh was so helpful making suggestions... on which wines to have, and the wine bags were a perfect option for our outdoor wedding. They hold 4 BOTTLES of wine each, thebags are so convenient!! My wife and I visited White Oak Cellar on a recent trip to St Paul from KCK. It wasn't too far off the freeway (2i miles) in a... very pretty setting. Glad we did. The wine server was friendly and knowledgeable and we met the owner who chatted with us abouthis winery. Real good mix of dry and semi sweet wines all cold-climate grapes most grown in IA. Amazing wine! We met John during a visit to the East Village in Des Moines. He was very friendly and went out of the way to... tell us about the winery and educate us on the process of wine making. I am not a big fan of Iowa wines, but his wine wasamazing. If you are looking for wines that are equal to many imports into Iowa, his wine is spot on. Say goodbye to your typicalsweet and fruity Iowa wine. I was so impressed, I picked up a bottle of La Crescent. It will be a true joy on a warm springday! Read more
