We went on a Thursday afternoon and sat outside, which was nice. Ordered the Detroit Mediterranean, with red sauce instead of... white ($2 upcharge. Whomp). Either way, the pizza was excellent. Fresh ingredients. Crispy buttery thick crust. We had thesummer salad and Caesar. Side salad size. They were good. The staff was super friendly and the location is quaint. Really cute and wonderful spot in Cambridge! We came here for a little family get together - they put us in a room off to the... side with tons of space for the 11 of us. Our server Becca was so wonderful and really went above and beyond to make us feel soat home. The pizza was delicious with all the different topping options they had and just cooked really nicely and crisp. Theyalso had a pretty decent wine/beer selection! Dinner was my first experience here. My son ordered buttered noodles and they lightly doctored them up and it was amazing. The... pizza put all the Philly pizza to shame. It was amazing to say the least. The onion tart was unbelievable. The meatball app wasso good the kids asked for another. I generally never give a place a 5 star rating, as generally, no one is worth that. However, this is a second place in... Cambridge that is absolutely worth 5 starts. Ava's food is fantastic. Seriously, I grew up in an Italian community and the foodat Ava's is second to none. We stayed at the Hyatt resort near-by, who's food is atrocious, and Ava's completely changed ourstay in the area.
