Wanted to write a review of this place to help others. Our server was fantastic; we had a big part of 13 with some kids. So it's... not always easy. Know what the restaurant has two offers: 1) the cold buffet is about $28 and 2) the hot buffet is about $59per person. The restaurant is a buffet. There are two choices, full buffet which includes cold items and hot items... and thereis the half buffet which includes cold items only. Cold Items primarily include all you can eat oysters, bite sized tuna cubes,and cocktail shrimp. There are small desserts and salads. Hot buffet included rib-eye and salmon. I had my fill of cocktailshrimp and oysters. There are appetizers that can be ordered, but they truly are just appetizers. And yes, kid menuexists. Not to mention... my daughter wanted to get something off the charcuterie plate... but there were flies around it. Mydaughter also wanted to make a salad... but there was no lettuce available. Additionally... my daughter and my niece eachpicked a piece of fish from the same board... one was very salty, one was very bland. We ordered grilled chicken... it tookextra long for it to come out... it came out raw! Even the server agreed and took it back. Read more

Casual but nice restaurant at the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay marina. We have eaten here many times before and have enjoyed our meals.... This time, we had a party of 4. Two of us enjoyed our meal. Two did not. The Cobb Salad had crab meat which was nice in theory.But the avocado had a very strange taste, and there was cartilage in the the crab. The portion was small for an $18 item. TheCrab cake tasted good and was a nice size. The service was good and we enjoyed seeing the sunset. However, after dark themosquitoes came and drove us inside. Great views of the water if you sit outside or near the windows. Delicious corn muffins served for dinner. There is a bar area... and lots of seating inside and out fun. This is one of the restaurant on the property where are the Hyatt Regency is located andhas limited openings in the off-season. I have stayed at this Hyatt multiple times and found that blue point is typically closedin the beginning of the week unless it is summer time. The restaurant is very attractive inside with nice high ceilings brightcolors and unique ceiling fans. They even have a cool fish shaped crayon holder for the kids. If you are staying at the Hyatt orpassing through Cambridge it's definitely a great place to stop and eat they do offer live music from time to time. Read more
This place seems like an undiscovered diamond and this is where we held our company's department retreat. It's a beautiful... setting, every seat inside has a water view. Every seat outside has a water view. It's really a gorgeous place, great seafoodwith a friendly staff. Read more
