I travel all over the state for work, this is hands down the best pizza in Maryland. Whenever I'm in the area I always stop by... for a pie. Since I live over 2 hours away i always get mine lightly cooked and finish it at home. It's not quite as good as theydo it but it is still the best pizza I can eat around my way. Read more

I don?t think you can fully appreciate how GREAT this place is. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary at the Hyatt... and saw the 5 star reviews this restaurant received and came for a meal. The food was great. But the owners are even better.Upon realizing that there were NO available Ubers, the owners offered to drive us home. They are angels sent from above. Youshould absolutely go to this restaurant not only for the fantastic food but also for the hospitality the staff provides to itscustomers. We will absolutely be back! Thank you Carmela and Chuck! Stopping in for a meal while traveling after Ironman Maryland, Carmela?s Cucina is incredible. Family run and using the best... ingredients, there are few Italian restaurants we have been to in all of our travels across the States that compare. All madein house on demand and served hot, nothing is held back with the generous portions and affordable pricing. We loved theatmosphere and will stop here again if we are ever close to Cambridge again! Read more

Great NY style pizza. Ceasar salad is legit - really great. This crew is from Brooklyn and it makes sense by the taste.
This is a little restaurant with good food. Love the eggplant. I would go again. We did also have gf pizza but my daughter... said it wasn?t very good. She would try their gf pasta next time. Read more
I had lunch at Carmelas Cocina, and the food was excellent, I ate the special penne a la vocka with salmon, it was a classic... Italian delight, the place is a little piece of Italy in Cambridge MD, chef Carmela, her husband and son work hard so that everytime you sit down at his table you have the gratitude of enjoying a good dinner.
