One of our favorite places to go for wings in Boston/Cambridge. We can walk, and there is always a short wait/no wait. Service... is fast and enjoyable. On weekends there is a cover to sit inside which is a bummer as not everyone wants to pay to sit inside.Prices seem pretty standard for the Cambridge/Boston area. Wings are only come in 3 flavors- I personally love the buffalo andit has a good kick. You get 8 for $15. The chicken sandwich is also a big favorite. Good beer selection for the size of theplace. We love coming here, even though we don't partake in traditional bar activities. The food is phenomenal and the service is on... par with the food. Options here for all diets and they make a mean Shirley Temple! Nice patio hideaway for when the weather isnice. Coworkers and I love popping over from work to enjoy a quality lunch. Great outdoor patio, even in the cold because of awesome outdoor heaters. Food is phenomenal!!! Very highly recommend the... broccoli! It was fresh and tossed with sauteed onion and garlic. SO good. Friends at the table got a delicious looking veggieburger, an amazing salad, excellent drinks and fabulous service!!! And - top it off - clean bathrooms!!! Read more
Ok, this is a very specific, very unique review. I love this place but its because its unique and unlike many other locations,... and super unique for photographing small to medium weddings. It is a wonderful mix of comfort meets grungy meets modern andsimple. I have photographed two weddings here and had a great time. That is mainly because the space fits the personality ofboth couples I photographed. They offer 3 pretty incredible AirBNB spaces upstairs for wedding couples as well. Our family went here to celebrate 2 birthdays this October. The service was very good & the food was delicious! The sweet... potato fries were the best I have ever eaten. We ordered a beef burger, blue fish sandwich & a turkey burger( pictured) &drinks. Definitely would like to eat here again! Read more
I went to the Atwood Tavern tonight for the first time to see Hazel Royer & Ira Klein. They played a nice mix of folky classics... with a hint of jazz. The music was top notch and the musicianship was excellent (including a special guest on lap steel and leadguitar. The sound engineer did a great job with the mix and volume, the staff at the door and the host/wait staff wereprofessional and kind. I had the Udon Noodles, which tasted good, but a little over salted. Overall a fantastic night, greatmusic, and a great bar / venue. Read more
